Great little tester for the price. I tested a faulty battery and a new battery, and it worked well. This is the first one I have ever owned, and I am glad I have one now.

    • Exceeded my expectations
I am a roadside assistance contractor. I bought this device to check the health of customers batteries when they need a jump start and are concerned about being stranded in the future. I can do a quick check with this little device INCLUDING LOAD TEST! I love the app that you download and coneect wirelessly to the device while doing the check. Each test can be saved so I can show the customer the results right from my phone. It saves customers a trip to an auto mechanic or auto parts store for a load test where they would likely tell them they needed a new battery even if they don't, just to make a sale.     • Pain to use
This thing was a pain to use when it worked. I broke it due to my own stupidity. I connected the terminals backwards. It immediately threw an error code and now every time it turns on it throws the same error. I must have fried the bluetooth chip because it still reads the voltage on the screen, but I can no longer connect to bluetooth. I think having some sort of protection against this easy to make mistake would be a good idea. I'm going to buy one that plugs into the dc outlet so I can test it from the vehicle. I need to monitor the charge of the battery while the engine is not running so I know when I need to start it to run the alternator or turn off my accessories. This thing does what it says it does, but it wasn't very easy to get it working. The app has some pretty useful diagnostic features if you're buying it for that reason. If you're like me though, and you need information quickly and without hassle, I don't recommend it. ... show more
