My first time using this heater I was very pleased with the way it performed. The second time I was not happy at all as I could not get the output hot. I came in the house getting ready to send it back but paused for a minute and read through the instructions and comments from some similar heaters and found this: Low Heat Output: Propane cylinder valve is turned on too quickly which will trigger the excess-flow protection and result in low flow rate. Turn off the cylinder valve and wait for 20 seconds for the excess-flow valve to restore. Then turn the cylinder valve on slowly. I did as prescribed and presto magic it worked!! I find it amazing sometimes how reading can provide so many solutions, I really need to do this more often ;-) GREAT heater - buy it (and read) ... show more

First time I ran it it worked great. Every time after that my garage has stunk of propane. I followed the directions to a T, tightened every port, changed tanks thinking maybe it was the tank. And it still begins to smell of gas within 20 seconds of turning it on. Waste of money. It's also loud as hell! ... show more
