I have a small rabbit and the house is a good size for it. However, I do open the doors during the day for free roaming on a specific area of the house. I needed to glue some wire plastic covers for some areas of wood to prevent it from being eaten by the rabbit. I think this could be better built for rabbit lime adding metal reinforcement in the interior to prevent it from being eaten by the rabbit. For exterior I would add a wood weather resistant primer and some flooring. My rabbit loves it and she was free roaming for 2 years. ... show more

Cons: Bit too small for my five birds and very hard to get in there to clean! Bit flimsy, showing wear after a few months. Door to roosting box is just a screen, we had to cover it with plastic to weatherproof it. Pro: we liked that it had 2 entry doors.

This is an adorable set-up that I really wanted to work for our chickens. We are first time back-yard chicken owners. Unfortunately, the run it is way too small (narrow) for 4 grown chickens. We ended up ordering a 6ft by 7ft enclosed dog pen. We plan to use the coop part (nesting box) inside the pen and then use the run as a mobile chicken tractor or pen when we are cleaning the larger pen. The product itself is not high quality wood and we knew that. We pre drilled holes to not split the wood. We also brushed on a clear coat of water resistant stain to make it last longer. We attached the whole structure on top of a wood frame to keep it from warping. Assembly was not difficult, taking about an hour to lay it out and screw it together with a drill. This product might be better suited for small chicks or bunnies. ... show more
