These lights are bright, and cast a warm white/yellowish glow that is sure to make our backyard even cozier. Our set arrived with instructions and 2 spare bulbs. The bulbs are hard plastic have a candleabra size base. The bulbs are situated 2 feet apart along the cord.The clips attached to each light would make it easy to attach to gutters. The lights are dimmable. No dimmer is included, but we have our other outdoor lights plugged into a dimmer, and these dim when plugged into it. I was asked during the review to rate the remote control, but as stated in the listing no remote control is included. The cord is sturdy and should withstand our midwestern winters and humid summers. We plan to plug these into an existing set of lights, to brighten the area on the side of our house, which we use as an entryway to our backyard. ... show more

I just love these lights! the backyard's never looked better! Let me tell you, these 120-foot string lights totally changed the look of my backyard, they're like instant magic strung them up in a jiffy (seriously, even I could do it!), and now my patio's the coziest spot on the block, well at least I like to think that! LoL. These little bulbs are like sunshine in string form, not too harsh, just the perfect warm white glow that makes everything look inviting., even the grumpy squirrels seem less grumpy under these lights! Rain, wind, even the occasional rogue soccer ball, well these lights can handle it all. they're waterproof and the bulbs are plastic, so no worries about shattered glass or grumpy neighbors. Ok I gave the 1 star to the remote because there was/is no remote just to be upfront. These look great on my porch and I was able to plug them straight into the other string I already have up. The lights give a nostalgic look with a modern twist. I have an extension cord with a dimmer on it and I was able to adjust the lights to whatever brightness I wanted with ease. The bulbs look to be glass, but are made of a material that I think would take an effort to break. I believe these are of a better quality than the ones I had already and I got half the length for about twice the price. ... show more

These lights are plastic and cheap. That's not my issue. We charged these lights for 3 days in the southern California sun where all our other solar panels are, and work. These lights came on once for about 5 minutes then died and never came on again. Not with the remote nor the switch. As I mentioned, they are plastic, that makes them lightweight, which I loved. I strung them up, which took about hour, and for them to not work again is not worth the time, money or effort. Look elsewhere for solar lights. ... show more

I love Edison bulb outdoor lights strings—they look magical! I love how they transform any outdoor space into a haven. These bulbs are perfect for this purpose, and I'm very happy with them. Firstly, the length of the 120-foot strand provides extensive coverage, making it perfect for adorning a patio, draping along fencing, or even creating a canopy effect overhead. This is how I used it - so I can't get a good photo since it's basically a horizontal wall of lights, but rest assured it looks awesome. The Edison bulbs themselves are a sight to behold. Their warm glow adds a nostalgic charm that instantly sets the mood. The vintage aesthetic is something my friends and relatives have consistently commented on. This is probably the best feature of the bulbs - they look great both in daylight and at night. While these lights are waterproof and the bulbs are durable, I have to admit that the wiring is less thick than what you'd get from a bigger brand name; there's no outer coating around the wire. That said, I don't think there's any danger nor do I think they look any different at night. The thinner wire is actually significantly easier to work with than the thicker double-jacketed wires of other brands, so for some it will be a plus. I ordered this product to bring bistro lighting to my outdoor patio. These string lights are easy to hang because of the hook attached to each light. The bulbs are plastic, which means that they're lightweight and not prone to breakage. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can hang the lights and not worry about breaking the bulbs. The lights are a warm white (on the yellow side of the spectrum), which is exactly the mood I was going for in the backyard. They don't overheat because they are LED. They also easily connect to other string lights, so I can light the entire perimeter of the backyard. And this string light in 120'. I haven't tested that they are dimmable, but apparently that's an option (I do not have a dimmer). ... show more

The lights went up with no issues, all the bulbs worked out of the box and whats nice, you got a couple extra bulbs in the box when you will need them. I use the lights all the time with a timer in the yard. Makes the yard more usefull and gives it a party atmosphere all the time

I am always very weary of LED lighting. These are fantastic - they are super warm and easy on the eyes. They are about the size of a golf ball. I love how they look when they are on. They seem well made. Highly recommended.
