The Clinique girl actually put me on this elf make up remover and said it was the dupe for the Clinique makeup melting bomb. I am so thankful to her. This works just as Well. Remove your makeup without scrubbing your face off at an affordable price. I keep a stock of this in my house and I hope they never discontinue it. There are other expensive versions of this type of makeup remover and other drugstore brands that I have tried but nothing compares to the elf one and it also comes in a set. I bought this to remove my makeup on the rare occassions that I wear it. What I wasn't expecting was to love it so much that it has pretty much replaced my usual night time face wash, even on makeup free days. First of all, it does exactly what I bought it for - removing makeup easily without my face feeling like a grease-bomb hit it. I love that I can either wipe it off with a face cloth, or I can wash it off. Either way, my face feels so soft afterwards. Love this stuff! Just rub alittle bit around your face for a bit and wipe off with a damp cloth. Skin feels hydrated and ALL the makeup is GONE. I follow with my nighttime routine but if you're young or don't normally use nighttime creams you really don't have to. Your face will feel clean and soft and you can just go to sleep as is. I would wash my face if I were removing makeup to put on a new "face" - say day to evening. This is also more environmentally friendly than single-use wipes and inexpensive. Not much is needed per use. I'm a fan of many e.l.f products because they are high quality and inexpensive. Some things I use are more expensive but they are worth it. I really like this product you don’t need too much and it gets all of my makeup off well including my eyeliner which never comes off, the texture is super pleasant and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. The product feels oily and I have really dry, sensitive skin so it’s nice and hydrating and doesn’t leave my skin feeling weird after I wash it off. I absolutely love the e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm. It has quickly become one of my favorite steps in my skincare routine because it removes makeup so effortlessly while still feeling gentle on my skin. One of the best things about this cleansing balm is how well it melts away makeup. I tend to wear a full face and this balm breaks everything down easily without needing to tug or scrub my skin. Another thing I appreciate is how my skin feels afterward. Instead of feeling tight or stripped like some cleansers can leave it, my skin feels smooth, soft and hydrated. It has a very light scent and the consistency and thickness is perfect. I also love how affordable this product is. You get a good amount and It performs just as well as many higher end cleansing balms. My only small complaint is the packaging. I wish it had a pump or a twist top dispenser instead of the jar. That would make it a little more convenient and easier to use, especially with wet hands. Overall, I highly recommend this cleansing balm. This product looks and feels like vaseline but comes off feeling nice moisturized clean skin. I will use another face cleaner product after the fact for any excess makeup but not necessary. It literally will melt off your makeup, with constant light rubbing, getting even the mascara off. Has a bit of trouble with eyelash glue but it’s ok. I clean my eyes twice with it. A little bit goes a long way, smells nice too. Comes with a spatula and easy to apply. Works very well and deserves the 5 stars. Also container is small enough to travel with, which is a plus for taking you makeup off anywhere. This stuff is amazing. I have tried about 20 different makeup removers, all claiming that they take off waterproof eye makeup. This one actually does!! It only takes a little bit, like the size of a dime, and that mascara and eyeliner come right off. It is slightly oily, but comes off well with water. I use additional soap after this to clean my skin after removing the makeup so the texture isn’t an issue. I have sensitive skin, particularly around my eyes, but no problems with this. I don’t notice a scent, and it really cleans that waterproof makeup off and is a fraction of the price of many other brands. Love it! ... show more
