PROS: works really good, very quiet even on turbo mode, and took out over a QT and a half of moisture in 16 hours of Turbo run time! I must admit I didn’t expect that much! CONS: puts out quite a bit of heat! I didn’t expect that. If you’re the type that likes to close your bedroom door at night don’t! Unless you have the AC going rather central or window AC because it will heat the room a little. Now that being said I had mine on turbo mode all night with my window AC on so didn’t feel any heat! The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is because of heat that comes out.

The unit looks good, has a good finish and doesnt look cheap plastic. Works like a charm, is being used in the garage were a swamp fan is blowing cold air, the dehumidifier removes the excess of humidity and brings the room to a cooling breeze, the unit will sound on after its been turned off to cool down the internal hardware, then will turn on automatically. Noise level is of a small fan, water is easy to remove and the device security features will prevent the unit from working if the water container is not installed correctly.

I recently moved into a newly constructed apartment that seemed to trap moisture much more than my previous ones. After getting a Govee thermometer/hydrometer, we learned our apartment was consistently over 60% daily with nights reaching 85% at one point. (I should note we live in deep South Texas along the border where it’s more humid than average, but even considering that, our internal moisture % was higher than outside, even with our HVAC temp at 70° versus the 100° temps outside). I purchased a Govee dehumidifier first, which works great (it’s massive tank filled up after an day of use) and allows me to control it via the app (the only unit of the three that has smartphone connectivity), but I didn’t like the size of the unit. Simply too big for a bedroom/office like I needed, much more suited for a basement or open area. My second purchase was two Samsichi dehumidifiers, which were much smaller in comparison to the Govee unit. It definitely is suited for a bedroom and is very discreet, so I swapped out the Govee unit with this one in the primary bedroom. My main issue is that it has a bright LED indicator that is the only light in my room at night and it bugs me lol. I prefer total darkness. It doesn’t connect to an app/smartphone (the Govee unit allows you to turn off the LED panel when not in use), but that’s my main issue so far. It seems to collect moisture out of the room, albeit at a slower rate compared to the other two units I have. They’ve been running for two days and the tanks are about a quarter full, so I’m not sure if this one can pull as much moisture from the air compared to the Govee or Aeocky units. The Aeocky dehumidifier is slightly larger than the Samsichi unit but still sleek and discreet (it’s more comparable to a PS5 whereas the Samsichi is like two Nintendo GameCubes stacked together). It’s also slightly louder but still nothing to complain about. Overall, I like this one the most because it’s still compact and appears to be more effective than the Samsichi (I had to drain the tank on the Aeocky after a day of use, still waiting on the samsichi units to catch up). Also, the Aeocky doesn’t have super bright LEDs on the unit so that’s another plus for me. Considering the Aeocky and Samsichi units are priced very similarly, I think id rather return the samsichi units and replace them with Aeockys.

It's a cute little dehumidifier. Not too heavy and has a handle for ease of moving around if needed. Price is very reasonable and they usually offer some type of discount on top of that which is always appreciated. It's very quiet and helps keep the air clearer of pet dander, dust, etc. We have 3 dogs and a cat so we are dumping the water reservoir out about once every other day. It's expected so we don't mind. Between living down south and all the pets, it helps make the house feel less stuffy. Not too heavy and isn't too big. Good quality and performance.

This dehumidifier gets the job done! I needed a compact unit for a small basement (around 300 square feet)…set up with ease and functions well to pull moisture out of the air. Very clear functionality and simple, but effective. Highly recommend and a great value!
