I bought these for 20 elementary school aged girls as a surprise during a campout. I can't say they were overly excited about them. Some never worked out of the box and beeped nonstop in a death chant. Some of the kids had a tough time figuring out the controls. The girls started giving them to their parents to watch, which made the parents hate me. After the first day, I saw maybe 3 of the girls still playing with them. Next time I'd pick something else.
