Excellent golden tee for the money. This game is from the 2000s and brings back memories of my 30s and 40s in the Arcade. It is not s modern verision. A modern golden tee with online play costs 8k or you have to build a MAME cab for 2.5 K, and get a hold of the game that way, which is also fun, if dubiously legal. For 449, this will give you skills to play a modern version, if you come across one in the wild. Assembly is straightforward, if tedious. I threw a blanket on my kitchen table, and built the halves on the table, final joining, on the floor. Then a few more screws for the monitor. Took me 3 hours, but I was alone and took my time. After a quick shower, I had a buddy over, and the machine was dubbed most excellent. I probably coulda convinced my bro law to buy one, if it only had online pay. Arcade 1up missed the mark there. But if I had to pick only one Cabinet, this would be it. My buddies dubbed it “worth the dough”! There is a ground wire for the control panel you have to connect, that is on a separate page. Im willing to bet the few people that said their machine stopped working, killed their machine with static cuz they forgot to connect the ground wire. ... show more

    • Solid arcade - exactly what I hoped it’d be!
First time buying an arcade1up product and am very satisfied. I’ve had the arcade for a few months now and am loving it. For setup, instructions were pretty straightforward and well organized (and well packaged/labelled) - maybe 1 or 2 minor diagram things that an average/above handy person will get past. I’d classify myself above average and took ~3 hours at reasonable pace / no breaks. I’d recommend laying out all the parts first and using the ground for balancing parts during some steps (or grab a helper if you can). Regarding the gameplay, it’s awesome - exactly what I was hoping. There were two parts I was most keen on assessing quality based on reviews - the screen quality and trackball - I considered upgrading them prior to initial setup, but read the new BOE screen was good and same with trackball unless you’re an expert gamer. I can confidently say I’m very happy with both parts - screen is excellent and I have no concerns with the trackball. Glad I did not proactively upgrade. ... show more

This cabinet did not work. I reached out to support for assistance, and after about 13 back and forth emails that became very repetitive, they finally shipped replacement pieces. Once I installed those pieces, I still had no power. Since then none of my questions have been answered and I’ve received no further communication. ... show more

This is a bunch of fun! Don't expect to play it right when you get it, it is about 3 hours to set it up but the instructions are very detailed and step-by-step, and there's a nice feeling of accomplishment when you finish the last step and power this thing up. Very popular at my vacation night.
