I received nothing more than an expensive toy. It was a very lightweight plastic that I am sure would not have held up with the light pruning in my back yard. My error of ordering the wrong item. Without assembling it I chose to return it and place an order for a name-brand tool.

This 4" chainsaw was helpful in tackling wider branches (maybe 3") while grooming my yard. It's great for those branches that are too thick for a lopper, but not big enough to justify busting out a proper chainsaw. I love that it doesn't require fuel or oil. It was pushing it to use on anything thicker than a couple inches and you could hear it straining. I'm not sure I like the idea of adding another tool to have to store when I don't have that many branches specifically that size. I think the next size up would be a nice in between and could handle a wider variety of branch diameters. However, if you find yourself with a ton of small offshoots or an especially reedy bush or small tree with not huge branches to tackle, this will definitely work, and it's way more convenient than a hand saw.

The chainsaw are the best ever. They are easy to hold and control. They are not to heavy to handle. I can cut my branch quickly without multiple attempts. I like how they give me a clean cut also. It is enjoyable pruning my trees and bushes. The chain are powerful and sturdy. I would highly recommend the handheld chainsaw.
