I teach a genetics unit for Biology 1 every year. My classroom at school is not particularly temperature consistent and can be very dry. Dry hatch doesn’t work very well for us because the humidity in my classroom never really gets over 30% and it runs through too much water on the weekends to try and do a wet hatch because I’m not allowed to get into the school. This incubator is extremely consistent at maintaining both humidity and temperature. I am thrilled to finally find one that works well in my goofy classroom. Easy to use, we were able to hatch 5 of the 8 chicken eggs that we tried now working on ducks. The design makes it easy to not have to open the incubator to refill the water. It turns the eggs and as long as you know when to stop the piece comes off quickly for when the eggs go into lockdown.

This little incubator looks incredibly well designed and perfect for small projects or educational use. Everything arrived nicely packaged, and my first impression is that it’s surprisingly feature-packed for such a compact unit. The design includes a digital display for temperature and humidity, an automatic egg turner, and even a built-in egg candler so you can check embryo development without needing extra equipment. Many incubators in this category rotate eggs automatically every couple of hours to help prevent the embryo from sticking and improve hatch rates. The clear viewing dome also makes it easy to watch the process, which is great if you’re using it for learning or demonstrations. One of the things I like most is the auto water refill system, which should help maintain humidity without constantly opening the lid and disturbing the environment for the eggs. I haven’t run a hatch cycle yet, but based on the design and features this looks like it will be a really fun tool for our homeschool group to use as a hands-on science project. Watching the development process and eventual hatching should be an amazing learning experience for the kids. Overall, first impressions are excellent. It looks easy to use, well thought out, and packed with helpful features for beginners or educational settings.

As a homesteader who always has a flock of chickens, it’s really nice to have the option to hatch our own eggs, and this incubator has been a great addition. It was super easy to assemble and use and is very feature rich for a smaller unit. It’s mostly a set it and forget it setup. You just keep an eye on the water bottle and it does the rest. It holds a very steady temperature and helps maintain humidity, which are both crucial for successful hatching. The automatic egg turner works well, it's quiet, and the built-in candler is an especially nice feature that you don’t usually see on incubators this size. I also appreciate that the inside is all plastic, which makes it easy to clean and sanitize between uses. Overall, this is a great value for the money and would be perfect as a starter incubator, hobby unit, or learning tool. It’s not meant for large batches of eggs, but it’s excellent for small-scale hatching. Would recommend!
