I bought this incubator thinking it would be a decent in between option. I opened it, cleaned it out and added 10 eggs and water. I did not get a thermometer or humidity tester. I wanted to see how the incubator worked itself. out of 10 eggs two hatched. One having difficulty. I then got a thermometer and found that the temperature within this incubator does not stay regulated. It will rise all the way up to 110 when set at 100 and you have to constantly watch it because it will drop down to 95 then bounce back up to 105 for no reason on the same temperature setting. You can also not control the humidity that goes up and down as well. I don’t recommend this unless you wanna watch it all day every day to make sure the eggs don’t overheat or get too cold.

Good incubator. It is compact and we have high success rates. It is easy to set the temperature and it doesn't require space for large bottles on the side. I do wish it had something to better grip the top as it is hard to do it with two hands AND manage what you need to do. It was tolerable for candling the eggs, but when some chicks had hatched and were dry for nearly a day with a few more eggs unhatched, getting the chicks out involved two people. Also be warned that there is no lip around the platform in that situation and the eggs will roll out. I thought about that and put a towel all around. There is one I like better, but it does take up more room than this incubator. If size is a big factor for you, then this is going to be your best bet as you don't have to store the hatching bottle and this is nice and compact. I have no complaints for the success rate (80-90% every time) so it is just a matter than I prefer to be able to manage eggs and chicks without a second person that I like the bottle version better.

I was so impressed with this product that I had to give it a 5 star rating. The incubator is lovely. Easy to set up. Everything needed for proper egg hatching is included. A cup to add water to the bottom of the incubator to keep the humidity just right. The temperature is easy to set & is kept steady throughout. Keeps track of the number of days of incubation. It even rotates the eggs automatically. Cleaning is a breeze, as the bottom can be taken apart & soaked. The price is worth every penny. Quality is excellent. Oh, and did i mention that it is SUPER quiet? LOVE IT & would highly recommend!

Absolutely not worth the money. Used 3 times and mother board display burned out and shorted and cooked my eggs that I paid over $30 for the dozen of fertile eggs. Garbage
