I didn't have the highest hopes for this since it was like a smaller capacity egg incubator, but it has definitely exceeded all of my expectations! First and foremost it came very well packed, with plenty of Styrofoam protecting it from any damage to the incubator whatsoever. It was very easy for me to assemble and the directions that it comes with are very easy to understand in regards to the controls and options that it has. This comes with your basic temperature control, and humidity control options. As well as an automatic egg turner that will automatically turn the eggs every 120 minutes! I have been testing this out for the past few days and it holds temperature very well and very consistently the whole time as well as the humidity control, and the Egg Turner's definitely work as they should in that exact time frame that was described in the ad! You can turn the automatic egg turner off as well which I definitely recommend when it is closer to hatch time! All of the controls are very easy to understand and very easy to use with no issue whatsoever. I love that it also comes with a little incubation diary that you can write down all of the hatching dates and times as well as anything else that you need to record such as temperatures for the particular egg or species as well! All in all this is just a super solid little incubator for lower capacity hatching! It has a compartment on the side where you can easily pour the water in for the humidity control as well! You cannot be the value for your money on this one with just the ease of use alone! This is super well made and you can tell that all of the materials used are not just cheap flimsy materials and that it will easily be able to get the job done! I like that it came with an instruction manual. The water bottle is a nice idea. I've not yet incubated eggs but I expect it will work just fine.

    • An Incubator Which Makes Successful Hatching Easier
I’m going to try my hand at hatching and raising bob white quail this summer so I ordered this incubator and some other paraphernalia that I’ll need according to the research I’ve done. Let me tell you, this incubator is far more advanced that the homemade one I constructed as a kid in the early 60’s following the instructions found in an edition of a “Boys Life” magazine. Although it’s still a bit too cold to order fertile eggs, I decided to do a “dry run” to familiarize myself with the many features of the incubator. I’m very impressed that the incubator has an automatic rotating shelf (controlled with a timer) so manual turning of the eggs won’t be necessary. Temperature and humidity are also automatically controlled. I checked both which were found to be spot-on to where I had programmed the levels to be. The instructions for setting up the incubator are complete but written in very small print (have your reading glasses ready). I’m really looking forward to the ultimate test of actually hatching some eggs in the near future and sure all will go well using this well-made incubator. ... show more
