This is the second pair of these chairs that I bought. The first pair have broken several times the welds in the socket on the base of these units are too few and far between, and they break very easily. When just one or two of the wells failed. I used epoxy to try to stabilize the base, but eventually, the amount of torque from sitting and moving around in these chairs broke up the epoxy. Then a couple years ago I took it to a buddy of mine. He’s a welder and he added a few spot Welds. In retrospect, he needed to put a lot more spot welds. These chairs get any kind of regular use. They will absolutely fail within a year or two. If not sooner that’s why they are so inexpensive. The pair I bought were $100 for two the pair I just bought was like $42 for two the rest of the chair. Construction is very very well built. Just know if you get these they won’t last the reason why I gave it five star rating is because, they are really super cool, looking and very unique! The fabric and padding on the chairs have held up great I sit in them all the time. The hydraulics work exceptionally well for lifting up and down the swivel works flawlessly the chrome on and the base seem to be very high-quality , unfortunately the welds are a major fail. I haven’t assembled the new chairs yet because I bought a small welding machine to be up the bases. I will practice wells on the old chairs which both now are completely completely non-functional. If I make the chairs work again, I’ll probably just give them away… The red fabric has become a little faded and worn overtime because of a lot of use and the new ones just look shinier And newer

These look great at our home bar and give it a lift in style. They easily hold 220lbs and the height adjustment is great for a standard bar. The price is outstanding and the product arrived 3 days early. Highly recommend this product.

POSITIVE: They looked good. COMFORT? So and so - takes some time to get used to them, but now... NEGATIVE: They started squeaking after a couple of months - did not think too much about it. But then it started to get annoying and they are loud + they started to become wobbly. I contacted the seller and told them the issue. The answer: "sorry, you are our of the 3 months warranty". Did not notice they have only 3 months warranty, but I guess it makes sense, since they are not built to last even a year. We had another set of 4 and they lasted for 5 or 6 years until the covers started to peel off; but never an issue with sturdiness/safety and noise/annoyance. At this time, they don't feel safe anymore, as the whole chair tilts back and forth slightly and it looks like it gets worse with use/time. WARNING: So, if you want something to last more than a few months, get something else. And customer service: not recommended, because they do not take any responsibility for a low quality product.

While it is supposed to be bit straight forward to install, there is a small plastic cap on top of the center support which is supposed to be removed. That is mentioned no where in the installation document. On top of that, on one of the chairs that plastic cap was not there. I realized it was stuck in the inside of the chair support. So, that clearly tells be someone had got this chair and assembled it, and got that cap jammed in there. I had to remove that plastic cap by pushing down with a hammer, and then assemble it and everything worked. I am a fairly good handyman myself, and was able to figure out, but for sure others would return the product. After figured out that, the assembly was straight forward and for now things are working. I have attached 2 pictures. first one shows, the center support doesn't have that plastic protector (which needs to be removed), but it was jammed inside the chair support assembly. Maybe from a return. The second picture has the ccenter support plastic protector, which again has to be removed, which isn't mentioned in the installation steps. Beware!!!

The media could not be loaded. Very lovely and sturdy. Though i have issue with my first order that came with a larger screw hole that couldnt hold the screw , but then i order another one and this one came good . Though they need make an improvement to be perfect. I have the first one to return but i have been busy with work and havent had time to take it to ups. Apart from that first hurdle, everything is good
