It’s compact, easy to handle, and feels relatively safe to use even if you’re not super experienced with power tools. For the price, especially compared to some name-brand models, this one’s a solid deal. Setup was fairly straightforward, but I’ll say this—the instruction manual is way too simplified. Especially when it came to putting the chain on correctly, there weren’t nearly enough details or diagrams. I had to figure it out myself through some trial and error. Not a huge problem, but if this is your first chainsaw, be ready to wing it a bit. One important tip: you absolutely need to buy bar and chain oil separately. I didn’t use any at first and the chain heated up fast and felt sluggish when cutting. The next day, I added the oil and it was a night-and-day difference—smoother cuts, less strain on the motor, and it just felt safer. Don’t skip the oil—it’s like ten bucks and makes a huge difference. I just bought the one they recommended, and it worked fine. Can’t speak for other brands. As for performance, it’s surprisingly good for what it is. I’ve used it for trimming branches and cutting up small logs around the yard, and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far. No need for a bulky, gas-powered saw if you’re just doing home maintenance. The batteries (comes with two) last a decent amount of time for light work. I usually swap them out mid-job just to be safe. Overall, it’s a great little tool to have in the shed. Not for heavy-duty logging, obviously, but for regular yard work and storm clean-up, this thing is more than enough.

First impression: this things a joke! I'm a chainsaw carver and ordered it to use for a few weeks till I get a stihl battery saw. It has no chain break, what looks like a chain break is just a piece of plastic that flaps around. The bar and chain are smaller then my carving bar, you will NEVER find a replacement bar, nor will you find replacement batteries, and you probably wont find replacement chains either. The weight is surprisingly light, but probably because it's not a "real" chainsaw. If you want to buy it to prune bushes it would probably be okay for that, but much more it's just a dangerous waste of space! The Oregon electric saw is a much better option if you don't want to go with stihl

This electric saw is of very good quality and has strong power. It is very easy to cut a tree trunk into sections. It has a suitable length and all accessories are complete. My first impression is not good. The handle broke off while i was installing the bar and chain. I will epoxy the handle back on and see if that works. The bar has an oil reservoir which was me reason for purchase. An oiled bar is better, right? I still have high hopes for the saw and hope nothing else breakes.
