    • Best compact ladder ever.
Color: Silver Size: 12.5FT
I have 10 ladders of varying shapes and sizes. This one is easy to store and easy to use. Just need to extend rungs from the top downward. It has a safety feature when collapsing to prevent fingers from being crushed but it can be annoying to have to double work the latches to get it closed. Otherwise it is the perfect ladder and very strong and light weight. ... show more

    • Great purchase! Would buy again.
Color: Silver Size: 12.5FT
We bought this to use while camping. We have a fifth wheel and this ladder will be a great addition to access what we need at the time we need it. Last trip was a very muddy dirt road. Got to camp and could not see out of the windows so broke out the ladder so I could wash the windows. We use this at home as well. Well built quality, good height, easy to lift, portable and comfortable steps on this. ... show more

    • Not as sturdy as I thought it would be
Color: Orange Size: 12.5FT
Nice ladder but not a sturdy as I thought it works be a bit scary to get up on as it bends slightly in the middle no matter what length you have adjusted it to

    • Great for high-roof camper van conversions!
Review Image by Karen
I’m converting a Promaster 2500 high roof and needed to climb on top of the van to install a fan and solar panels. I do have a ladder mounted to the back, but it’s not easy to use with stuff in my hands, and I’m too old and too fat to climb up onto the roof from the top of it! This 12.5 foot is perfect. In the photo, you can see it reaches my roof with the top two sections still folded, and extends above the roof by about 2 feet when fully extended. This is tall enough for me to reach the roof and safely dismount (I secure it to the roof rack with a ratchet strap if I’m alone without anyone to spot me). The bottom should sit about 2 feet out from the van for safety (about a foot for every 4 feet of height). This means that the 12.5-foot ladder reaches around 10 feet high when you allow for the angle. The feet sit securely in place and have never slipped or moved, yet I can lift the ladder into another position if I want to when I’m on the roof—it’s not too bottom-heavy or grippy to keep me from repositioning it when I want to. I’m going to keep this ladder in my van when I hit the road because it’s so lightweight and takes up little room. I’m a middle-aged woman and only 5-foot-4, but I can easily carry this under my arm. It will be far more useful for me than the attached ladder when I need to climb on top to service the solar panels or scrape snow. The only downside is that this ladder (and any aluminum) gets CRAZY cold in low temps! I had to start using it during the winter, and the ladder was far colder than anything else I came in contact with—even colder than the metal on the van. I had to put on work gloves to use it under 40 degrees. I’ll experiment with a few materials to see if there’s a way to add “warm” handholds on each section without hindering the ladder’s ability to collapse. Plastic coating would help this, but it would also add weight to the ladder, so I’m happy with the product. ... show more

    • Manageable weight. Well made and balanced.
Color: Silver Size: 12.5FT
Great unit that my wife can set up and use without my help. Replaced one of those heavy dangerous ones that you have to unfold and then extend using those dangerous sliding stops. Look out fingers.

    • Unsafe
Color: Silver Size: 12.5FT
I thought this would be perfect for my camper and out of the box seemed like a good addition. Very quickly, but after 30 Amazon days (ladders aren't used everyday) I began to notice some dangerous tendencies. First it didn't extend evenly and I had a link that was wedged higher on one side than the other. With some WD40 and persuasion I was able to force the one high side down. The ladder never opened properly again. This showed up on multiple links after just a few more openings. I got the ladder extended and was at the top when one link failed and the ladder dropped one link. Luckily I had support on both sides and hit the one side and stopped from going to the ground. Someone with weak joints or arthritis would have been in big big trouble. But I kept it and tried to keep using it. Now the lock tabs are falling off and I cannot lower it. This isnt a cheap ladder price wise and I found it totally unsafe to use. I have used it maybe 10x before even my stubborn mind deemed it trash. Please do not buy this product. It could seriously injure you. ... show more

    • GOOD PRODUCT
Color: Silver Size: 12.5FT
This is our second telescoping ladder, well-made and easier to fold than the previous clunky one we had. Folds to a slightly smaller package making it easier to store.
