Great for heavy items. I do wish they gave an option without the little tabs added to the ends. The mail part of the ends, that takes 3 screws for hanging, is good. But then there's that little extra end piece like a tab...and if you're hanging onto a flat wall, they are just in the way. I assumed they would be easy to remove by bending back and forth several times until they snapped off...I was wrong. They are heavy gauge metal! SO got a hammer and put each end into my vice and had to hammer them down flat to get them out of the way enough to use. But got it done and am happy with the results. Once you hang this rod, it's super sturdy and will hold a good amount of weight. ... show more

Used this for curtains to separate my makeshift closet from the rest of my room and had to get one of the wider poles and it has been the best investment. I do recommend two people to install it though.
