    • Unsafe for 210lbs person and above. Very narrow slippery hard to stay on steps. steps

The ladder is narrow. Hard to balance when climbing on it although I had a big guy holding it from under me. The steps are thin, very hard to stay on for more than 10 minutes. Steps are very slippery as I had my safety steel toe construction shoes on. It squeaks as I climb on it. I am 210lbs and it is not made for such a weight although specs say 330lbs. It is recommended for light weight people and to climb on half way only. Above that, it is unsafe. ... show more

I give three starts to the ladder because "the price is right", and it could work well in some cases but not in my case. I would definitely categorize it as hazardous. The ladder is very flimsy, and it arrived with a dent that was caused during transportation (the box had signs of impact). The width is very narrow at less than 14.5", and it's very light. These two factors make the ladder unstable and unsafe even with the horizontal support at the bottom. I had a 130 lbs person climb it, and the the ladder was very shaky. At my weight of 160 lbs, it was still shaky. I don't see how this can work with a heavy person given how narrow and flimsy thus thing is. ... show more
