I recently got this 12,000 BTU swimming pool heat pump for my above-ground pool, and it’s been fantastic! It heats up the water quickly, even on cooler days, and the cooling function is a great bonus during warmer weather. It’s easy to install and operates efficiently on 120V power. Overall decent quality materials. Setup was simple and straightforward. I do believe it will take a few days for it to heat up temps to 68 or so, but once we get there we’ll utilize the cycle timer so it’ll be more efficient. No issues with the unit thus far, but we’ve only had it going for one day at this point. Recommend

Hate the description: "12000 BTU Swimming Pool Heat Pump Up to 2000 Gallon.." You can't put in the word 'pump' and then the first page of directions state, pump not included. There is a obvious temperature difference of a couple degrees between the pool water and the water coming out of the heater. As it states in the directions it may take days to bring up the temperature.

The vidapool above ground pool heater was easy to install and seems well made. It didn't take long for the pool to heat up and it was consistent throughout the water. This is really nice to have for the cooler months if you and your family like to swim!
