I was not expecting it to do the job of a whole-house water heater, and I think that is the key to being happy with it. My office has a bathroom that is not connected to the rest of the house and the only thing in it is a sink and a toilet. Since there is no shower, we decided not to install a water heater. The water gets really cold during the winter though, so I started looking for a solution when I came across this tankless water heater. The price was affordable so I decided to give it a try. I'm really impressed at how quickly it creates hot water with such a small, space saving design. It was super easy to install. We just connected it to the water line and connected the other end to the sink and plugged it in. Now I can wash my hands in warm water in about 10 seconds after turning the water on. It's worked really well and hasn't leaked or given me any problems. There is a drastic difference between how hot the water gets in the winter and in the summer. The summer water will scald you sometimes if you're not careful. I believe that's because the temperature of the water going into it is warmer during the summer than in the winter. That allows it to get to a higher temperature coming out of the faucet. Just keep that in mind as you transition from winter to summer. Thankfully, I did keep the cold water side hooked up, so I can mix it to cool it down if I need to. Really happy with it overall and I would definitely recommend it.
