    • Not a coop, but a pretty good run
First, just to be clear, it's not a coop, but it's a pretty good run. You could certainly build a smaller coop and put it inside, but in my case I used it as part of an enclosed run attached to an existing coop. It was easy to put the frame together, but you'll want pliers or a mallet and a dowel to straighten some bent ends. The poles themselves are sturdy enough to hold chicken wire and resist some force, but they're still fairly thin and will bend with enough pressure. The chicken wire that comes with it is pretty standard stuff. It's not going to keep predators out, but it's enough to dissuade hawks, etc., and will certainly keep chickens in. Many different sellers seem to be selling this particular model or something similar, so shop around. At the price I paid I thought it was very reasonable for what I got. ... show more

Assembley was a breeze until ypu had to install the netting. All the netting was installed with zipties which were of poor quality. Assembling the run literally took 20 min it all snapped together and was great, but netting installation took hours. What they don't tell ya is how much of a pain it is to net the thing. Frame is stupid easy but the roll of chicken wire and cutting it all, it will always haunt my dreams. I traded the zip ties out for rebar wire and it's solid. Love that it comes with ground spikes and anchors. The latch/lock... I mean it works but I'm looking to upgrade it. Not bad for a $200 run and I was able to tie it into my existing coop ... show more

    • good for outdoor chickens
this was easy to assemble frame and wire mesh walls with 2 people. there was plenty of wire mesh to completely cover the outside of the frame. To attach the wire mesh properly their needs to be 2 to 3 times additional tyraps than what comes with the kit.

    • This is crap!
The tarp was not big enough to cover the roof properly. They advertise “ The spire design perfectly avoids the gravitational backlog caused by rain and snow weather” nope. One side gets all the rain because the tarp doesn’t fit. The directions were horrible lacking detail of the importance of lining up certain holes. So had to re-do multiple times to get it right. Also the door latch is an absolute joke and impossible to replace with something better. ... show more
