This camera sounded good because it supports multiple formats and I figured it would work when I eventually upgrade my DVR. Unfortunately it doesn't look nearly as sharp as my analog 2MP 1080p 90 degree cameras do. I believe that's because of the wider 105 degree viewing angle. If you need the extra wide viewing angle and don't mind a loss in picture quality this one might be for you. I plan to move this camera to a spot where I can take advantage of the wider angle. This is an outdoor/indoor mount and connects with BCN. There are four options for output, and it is indeed, wide angle, but the picture quality is 1080p, which is lower than many competitors, but not many are in this pricing range. My biggest problem is I could not get the base to simount in order to mount it, so am still trying to figure out why it won't unscrew. I also prefer cameras I can rotate remotely, so it is limited use, but will work for something watching over a general area, a crib, etc. ... show more
