  • Takes great photos/video, but buttons stopped working properly after 7 months
Color: 1 pack
PROS - takes great photos - takes great video - takes pretty cool night vision photos/video - has incredibly long battery life/low battery usage - stores a great amount of video/pictures (so far for us the cap has been 669 photos/videos combined) - has still appeared to be waterproof thus far - mount and strap have held up - has a nice “lock” option for photos that you may not want to accidentally delete (which is very easy to do with this camera, read on to find out more) IMPORTANT CONS - buttons eventually stop functioning - buttons aren’t user friendly, it will take quite some time to get it figured out if you’re not technology savvy - “delete all” option is just under “delete” option and button skips down two or three options sometimes, making it very easy to potentially erase all of your photos/videos - buttons eventually render you unable to review and/or delete photos and videos without having to shut down/restart it/put it down and try another day - sometimes freezes, after only pressing one button - pictures/video become obscured when it freezes I got this when it was on sale, as I was looking for one anyway. My overall advice right now is if you’d like a nice trail camera, spend a little more on one that is maybe a name brand with lasting reviews. I say lasting reviews because a lot of these reviews seem to come straight out of the box. These reviews don’t seem to have any where the reviewer came back after having it for a few months. Or they review it after the first day and at that time things are good. The unboxing is great and the camera looks sleek and nice. Once out there it does take great photos, nice video and some really cool night photos, BUT after having it out in the field (sometimes not for weeks at a time, on and off) the buttons and functions accessed through them do not work and/or are not accessible. Here is an explanation of what I mean. You retrieve the trail cam, eager to review pictures. You hit replay to access pictures. This works fine at first, for the first few months. But shortly after that, it becomes more and more difficult to use the buttons. You’ll press down to view the next picture, it’ll “go” in a different direction and access something else, or nothing at all. At times you’ll have to delete photos/videos. You’ll go to the delete option. The button will “skip down” to delete all. You try to cancel and go back and it’ll skip around between cancel and delete all. Don’t hit the okay button unless you know for sure it’s on the right option. The ability to potentially delete all of your items out of the memory is very easy to do by mistake. The cam will also freeze while trying to review photos, sometimes only after pressing one or two buttons. Then it’ll start to obscure photos. Big blocks of green or pink will cover the screen. You’ll delete said photo, which may contain an otherwise great photo of an animal or what have you. Only to find out later that the photos aren’t actually “ruined” they’re just obscured by the camera itself freezing up during review. You’ll try to hit “back” and it just won’t go back. It’ll flip and skip between several options while you’re only trying to press the button one time. Or you’ll go to press a button and it won’t do anything. Or it’ll do a completely different function when your finger wasn’t even anywhere near that option. You’ll got to “lock” a photo or video out of fear of the dreaded “delete all” option, which the camera has a knack for selecting, when you’re only trying to select the single delete button. But you can’t even get to the lock option. The buttons will skip over it. Or not go to it at all. Overall, save yourself the frustration with this camera. It is a GREAT little camera at first. But after a few months the buttons will begin to fail. So perhaps it’s not waterproof? Maybe rain does affect it’s functions? Keep in mind; I also put a piece of metal over it as a roof to deflect rain for most of the time it was outside. There were only TWO times it may have been out in the rain for any amount of time. What is having a camera that takes great pictures and videos, but you can’t properly review them? Can’t delete them? Can’t access them? It’s pointless. Spend more money elsewhere where you get what you pay for in this case. I hope this reviews helps some make a decision before they spend their money and time. I’ll be keeping this as a back up camera until it possibly conks out all together. But I’ll make sure I keep uploading the photos and videos to my phone so that I don’t lose them all. ... show more

  • Awesome camera
Color: 1 pack
I’ve gotten some awesome pictures and videos on this camera. The value is great. This camera won’t break the bank and it functions perfectly. The battery life is good, I’ve left it out for a month and came back to half battery. Sensitivity is good, give it a wide field of view and plenty of time to pick up movement. And make sure there’s no pesky leaves in front of it setting it off every 10 seconds. I would buy more of these cameras! ... show more

  • Cool experience for newbie but be prepared to use SD card adapter instead of USB interface
Color: 1 pack
I've never owned a trail camera before so this is my first and I didn't want to go all out. I live in a big city and I've thought about a security camera before but didn't want to deal with cloud storage subscriptions etc. I'm mainly interested in what poops in and digs up my front yard so a trail cam seemed like a fun alternative that can also be moved around. I've now had the camera out two nights and already caught three cats in the middle of the night. Nice. Otherwise just tested it on dog walkers, cars, the mailman. Still playing with optimal settings to reduce waste with boring recordings. So far so good. Camera was easy to set up with decent instructions, albeit awkwardly phrased at times. Comes in a nice box. I like the non-strap mount and screwed it to a piece of wood I can move around in the yard. Decent features in the settings but as a newbie I have no comparison to what higher-end cameras might have. Two things that are already not good: The USB cable connection does not work! While the camera does activate "connected mode", my Windows 8.1 PC will not recognize the SD card as a connected drive. Support so far told me my best option is not to use the provided cable as different computers may need different cables. What!? If anything doesn't seem to fit right it's the micro port on the camera side. Using SD card with reader adapter works fine but not preferred. The Down button has started to accidentally trigger the OK button unless I touch the very left edge of the Down button with my fingernail. Assorted other: Amazon suggests as "frequently bought together" that I get a two-pack of 32GB SD cards but they are the wrong type. Beware! Some confusion/contradiction between "supports up to 256GB" and "supports less than 256GB". Windows may not support the video file format. Why not just say they are AVI files? No problem. Never heard of these other players. Product title could somehow state that this is the "A1 model". Also says 16MP but setting goes to 20MP. Concerned how much battery is already used up in the two nights (I inserted 8). Wishful feature: Option to preserve the file counter between SD cards and deletes/formats or let us set an offset so that files are numbered chronologically and I don't have to deal with duplicate reused names on my PC. Still considering a return or at least exchange to see if the two things above are isolated to a few bad apples. Have a still unanswered e-mail follow-up in with tech support. Update March 2 to 8, 2022: Customer service contacted me with a very kind and detailed e-mail that addressed everything in my review. They are very willing to listen to suggestions and make improvements in their descriptions. They offered me a refund, or a replacement directly to my address. I chose the replacement and received a new camera the next day. The keypad is fine now. Unfortunately the USB cable connection is again not working but I've come to accept that and just plug the SD card into a PC adapter. Either method requires to pop open the camera case anyway. Battery life is not an issue I found out now as my camera is on stand-by more often. With a big enough card (I have a 128GB now but it does support 256GB) the file numbering isn't much of a concern, especially with the option to delete the oldest when full. I've received a refund for my shipping cost to return the old camera (generously not asked to return the accessories). Because of this good interaction with customer care I am upping my review from 3 to 4 stars. ... show more

  • This is an excellent camera and an excellent seller.
Color: 1 pack
This is an excellent camera and an excellent seller. See photos - first is a daytime; second a night-vision. I had a problem with mine, very close to the end of the 1-year warranty. Their customer service was responsive and detailed - and it was clear that the response was directly to the issues I had, not just a rote response. They honored the warranty and replaced the camera after the troubleshooting problems did not fix the issues. I would highly recommend them. And the camera is AWESOME. I have been thrilled with it. It's pretty easy to set up and very easy to use thereafter. ... show more

  • I change my review from a 1 star to a 4 star
Color: 1 pack
Was very frustrated at first, but once I got support to help me all went well. Great camera but if you record a lot of activity, you will need to change out the batteries a little sooner. Glad I have the camera and enjoy using it.

  • Good camera.
Color: 1 pack
It has worked well for me. Good pictures.. battery life is very long. One of my cameras leaked water inside and ruined it. That is my only complaint.

Color: 1 pack
I bought 3 of these last season (2022) and left one out in the woods all year. That one doesn't work anymore, not sure why, no water appears to have gotten inside so idk. Bit the picture quality is great. Have a hard time watching the videos on my phone but the quality is really good
