Plenty to wam up a small room. There is a little push switch at the bottom (safety against knocking it over) which sometimes does not trigger on thick carpet. Fan is little noisy too. Still giving it 4 stars as it does the job.

I got this for the office to go under my desk. The only vent in my office is clear across the room and aiming not at me. Since the vent cover is pretty old, it isn't always easy to move, so I don't fuss with it. It kind of aims in my direction, but not enough that I'm not running the air constantly all summer and the heat on high all winter. Since the baffle between my office and the next room is broken, the room beside mine gets way more airflow than mine, which makes it either feel like Antarctica in the summer or, well, heck in the winter. And I work in a church, so that's no bueno. Anywho, with temps dropping, I got this to fit under my desk and warm me up without making everyone using the other room on my ductwork uncomfortably hot. This works really well. It heats up the space fast. I don't use it constantly. Just enough to heat me up, since I don't like sweaty feet. Then I turn it off until I get too cold again. It does turn off when tipped over, which is pretty cool. I've kicked it to test it. Not super hard or anything. I don't leave it plugged up when I'm not in the office and I don't use it constantly. For the price, I feel like I get a fair amount of heat and comfort from it, and it's probably saving my job some money on heating bills. I'd buy it again. ... show more

This is a cute little unit that includes a thermostat. Construction quality is fine, and it is ultra portable. I'd recommend that you make sure that this size of space heater is useful for you. I have it installed under a desk just to provide an extra bit of heat when required. I can also see it being useful for a workbench or similar space, but not for a medium sized room. ... show more

I have a work from home set-up by our big front windows, which makes for great natural light, but it can also get a bit chilly in the winter. I've tried a number of small space heaters now, and this one has to be my top fave. It's very compact but puts out enough heat to keep my legs comfortably warm. I like that there are physical switches and not a touch screen - it's much easier to switch on and off and I don't have to climb under the desk to use it. The temperature control is a dial, which I like having the ability to adjust it so simply. Some desk heaters only have two settings, and I don't always need the heat running so strongly. The indicator light that it's plugged in is also easy to see right on the front of the unit, which makes it easy to tell at a glance if it's plugged in. This is also a VERY quiet heater, and I can easily listen to music or be on a call without it being bothersome. Very pleased with this excellent small space heater! ... show more

Small and mighty.. surpassed expectations for dispersement of a warmer heat in such a little unit (8” tall is all..) LOVE this combos a fan (air circulation!) along with heat options all into x1 unit- super smart!! Performs on point in small space: under desk for feet, desk top for a more direct option.. heats up a dorm or warms the bathroom, great in office cubicle.. you get the idea. It’s small + quiet so not to disrupt or take up space. Equal to white noise- may be appreciated to block distraction. Exterior is a durable plastic- lighter weight but squatty build feels capable of wear/tear with common sense. As a personal sized unit its meant to be moved as needed.. and the built-in carry handle provides ideal ability to do so! Cord length is decent if close proximity to a standard outlet (not a usb!!) Easy to use control knobs are large and set on top- simple to see/operate- ideal choice for elderly. Bummer, it doesn’t have a remote nor, will it oscillate. Not dealbreakers but I mention so you’re aware. Tip sensor is solid peace of mind (you cant even slightly lift/move without heater shutting off!!) CONTROLS ARE SIMPLE: #1. Universal twist temp knob equates to = warm/warmer. #2. Power options: fan (blows room air) and low + high speed Wow for the $20 price point.. this is a solid find for a smaller heating need- a great back up or top off dose for those colder temp.’s..!! Wow this is TINY! I attached a photo with scissors for size reference. I didn't think it would be THIS small! But what if lacks in size, it makes up for in efficacy. This heater works very well. Especially if you're in a small space. It does smell for a bit when you first use it but it goes away. The fan only kicks in once you turn the left dial ( - + ) up to the middle. I am impressed though. I think it'll work great as a bedroom heater for when it's extra cold. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles such as a timer or exact temp control but it does the job.
