Bike is well made, but a fair amount of assembly is needed. Instructions are a little sparse, but manageable if you have worked on bikes before. Front fork came installed backwards and could not turn past cabling. I had to tap it out with a hammer, turn it, and reassemble it. My wife and I are new to E-bikes so we had rented a couple over the summer and really enjoyed them. So being new to them we didn’t want to spend to much money getting into them but wanted something that was of good quality and had a good reputation. After much research we ordered two of the Cybervello EK-2 e-bikes. Well we received our bikes a few days earlier than expected, which was nice. They came in packaging that kept them very well protected and assembly was pretty straightforward. Having the instructions and pictures really helped it was great that it came with the tools necessary to put together as well. I had a couple questions and contacted Cybervello and I would have to say their customer service was excellent. They were very prompt and easy to work with. For now FIVE stars. I will keep you updated in the future. If you purchase this CBVelo Ebike, beware, you are going to have to assemble it. It is not very easy. My neighbor and I worked on it for almost 2 hours. But, this is why the bike is reasonably priced. The company saves by not assembling it at the factory. This bike is built. I mean tough and it is heavy even without the battery. Everything is first class. FIRST RIDE: I went on a quick three mile ride. What a wonderful bike. Rides great! The shocks are great. Very powerful. I have a steep hill I have to go up. It climbed it at 15 MPH plus. Three years ago I purchased a Ebike from a California company. They claimed it was BUILT in America. Not so. Most of the parts were made in China. It was assembled in America. Delivered it was over $2,200. The good thing it was 90% assembled. Pricey for sure. Stupid me I did not order the bike with front or seat shocks. It knocked the.... you know what I mean. So, the CBVelo bike is well worth the money. Bottom line: We are going to have to wait and see how long the bike will last. Right now I am very happy with the bike. It is great! ... show more

Our second ebike. It is slightly different from the first. Specifically nicer is the PAS continuity. It came with a comfortable seat and a horn! Small problem with a part and customer service replaced it quickly.
