This is a really nice hose! It's not heavy, slides easily across the ground and doesn't kink. It even slides nicely across gravel and larger rock. The fittings are well made and seem strong and solid. I'm very pleased with it.

    • 25 foot was the perfect size, stainless steel doesn't kink!
When I purchased this item I wasn't sure of its durability or sturdiness. But I was wrong on both calls because the hose is very sturdy and durable, as an added plus it does not kink like my old vinyl hose did. This hose is so good I wish I would have bought two more. The ends are bronze with rubberized bend protectors on both sides, this shows quality. The package also came with a bag of 4 gaskets and a decent spray nozzle. These new, well new to me anyway, stainless steel garden hoses are worth every penny and now the test will be to see of it last the 4 seasons of summer, fall, winter and spring! ... show more

This hose is a little heavy but thin. It’s perfect for out doors. My hose is always ripping or getting weathered this has been very nice. I should have ordered a bigger size but it gets the job done.

This garden hose is made of stainless steel, although I cannot be certain about it's interior, since I can't really see that part. But the stainless steel does appear to be of good quality metal, and is quite flexible, thanks to the steel's segmented scaled design. There were a few extra bits included in a small clear bag. Please refer to my photos and the product description for what's included. it would appear that a garden hose nozzle is not included, however, as I did not receive any nozzle with this garden hose. So users will need to find one seperately. Especially since the qualities of scaled stainless steel is going to prevent users from relying on the traditional kinked hose method in any reliable way. Flexible the hose may well be, but it's also too strong and resistant to simple applied pressures, due to it's metal body. Water will simply freely flow through this hose when the spiggot is open, and kinking or bending the hose isn't going to affect it that much. So I do recommend users find and attach a compatable nozzle to this hose. I found no leaks or other flaws in this hose so far. Not at the spiggot connection, nor at any other spot along the hose body. I cannot, however, be ceratain of it's leak status when connected properly to a compatable hose nozzle, since it did not come with one. But based on what I can see of the spiggot connection, I would expect it to work just fine with other hose nozzles, so long as that nozzle is the right size, is compatable, and is connected correctly. Overall, this stainless steel garden hose does appear to me to be of good quality steel, and it's flexibility is great. I do expect that with proper care, handling, and maintainence, this hose should last a very long time, within normal intended useage, thanks to the stainless steel composition. 5 out of 5 stars. ... show more

This is so much better than regular garden hoses! The no-kink design means it's easy to roll out the hose without worrying about it getting stuck along the way. It attached easily to regular outdoor faucets and spray attachments. Water flowed nicely. The no-kink design does make it a little more difficult keep stored on traditional hose holders because it's so slippery and doesn't stay on the holder as well, but that's not a big deal. ... show more

Just bought a new home and needed a new garden hose. Thought I would try this stainless steel hose. It is much like the stainless hoses found on handheld shower heads. It is very pliable and easy to coil/uncoil. I connected the hose to a hose bibb that had about 160 pounds of water pressure. The hose held the pressure without a problem. However, I will put a pressure regulator on the hose bibb in order to go easy on this hose. The only downside is the length of the hose at 25 feet. Even within a small area like mine, it cannot reach items too far away from the hose bibb. As info, the hose nozzle does not come with the hose. ... show more

This is a relatively new design in garden hoses. Even the best of older hoses kink, cutting off water flow. Even the heaviest of rubber hoses are subject to kinking. This hose has a stainless steel exterior with a long series of consecutive rings of the hose overlaying the previous section. What this does is to reinforce the stainless steel by locking each ring to the next so that is literally impossible to kink the hose without deforming and basically ruining the hose. The deformation will cut into the small diameter plastic hose inside the stainless steel exterior. That puts an end to the hose! I know of no effective repair to this kind of hose once the interior plastic tube has been pierced. The stainless steel cladding allows the plastic pipe inside to expand when water pressure is applied, but allows only a specific amount of expansion. In my experience, the water flow is reduced compared to a full sized old hose, but not by that much. This hose is very sturdy. When empty this hose is very light, making it easy to route the hose to where water is needed. It is much heavier when water is inside the plastic interior pipe. I use this kind of hose to carry water to two gardens and a small orchard. I'm very satisfied with these hoses. They do an excellent job! ... show more

    • Lighter than expected.
I expected this to be moderately heavy seen as how it's stainless steel on the outside. It's actually quite light. Seems to work just fine. Doesn't kink. Some of the other brands similar to this seem to have leak problems, this one doesn't on initial testing. This isn't a hose for use if you have a high volume needed, like filling up a garbage can with water, the hole measures less than 3/8 of an inch that the water comes out of.
