Our old rubber garden hose was exposed to the sun all day so over time it has slowly deteriorated from the sun exposure. I got this one as a replacement hoping that the metal will last much longer even from sun exposure. The hose is surprisingly lightweight yet the metal outer housing feels fairly durable. I can't say I would drive my car over it but for everyday uses like washing the car or watering the trees it should last pretty long. The ends do have a short rubber part just before the connector but they also feel more durable than a standard rubber garden hose so hoping those parts will also last. The set does come with extra o-rings/gaskets for a tighter leak-proof connection. Overall very happy with the hose especially at a fair price for the quality.

I'm not a fan of rubber as a durable material. Steel just lasts longer and looks slick. This hose is segmented so it kind of stretches out for its full length and shortens/coils easily for you to roll up and put away. Being only 10 feet, it kind of has limited uses if you hook it up to your spigot. I use this hose to fill up my kiddie pool since I can let the water run, leave it unsupervised, and come back later. I also use it as a connecting hose to the reels I use for my longer 50 foot and 100 foot hoses.

The redeeming quality of this hose are the brass fittings. They’re good quality. No issues with kinks, but for some reason I’m just not a fan of expanded hoses after trying this one. Having said that - maybe I just need to get used to it. It is easy to use and is lightweight.

This is a great house. If you just need to add a bit of length to when you half.. It would also work if you just didn’t need a very long calls. It’s not very heavy, and I guess it would be impossible to kink it. That’s a big plus for me because I hate getting across the yard and happen to walk back and unkink a hose. Well made with good fittings. This should last a lifetime, since it will not degrade in the sun.

I got this stainless steel hose is to connect 2 sprinklers together. I love the flexibility and durability of this hose. It did not kink no matter how much I tried. The length is perfect for connecting the sprinklers and not having too much overlap. Before setting up to the sprinklers, I connected to the house, then to a spray head to check for any leaks. Water flowed freely with no drips or leaks. The semi-rigid reinforcement at both ends keeps the hose from binding up at the spigot and made it super easy to attach to the sprinkler heads. Since the directions did say not to expose to direct sunlight for long periods of time, I will cover the hose with beauty bark to protect it during the summer and pull it inside for storage during the late fall and winter.

Bought this as a companion to my 5 foot hose, which I love. These metal hoses are so much easier to handle and maneuver than my large rubber garden hoses. The flexbility and light weigh make them a breeze. I do wonder about durability, as I know they have a rubber interior "bladder" (not the right word) hose that is what actually holds the water. So, if it were to freeze, it would likely burst. But, the tradeoff is definitely worth it.

I ordered a 75' stainless hose with reel, but found out that where I wanted to put the reel was not close enough to the spigot for the reel connector to reach, so I ordered this 10' hose as an extension. Since it has a male connector on one end and a female connector on the other, it works perfectly as an extension hose. The connections appear to be well made, the hose is solidly built. It doesn't kink or snag like rubber hoses do, but it coils into small loops, so it isn't stiff. It comes with extra washers, which is always handy as these wear out or get lost when you connect/disconnect the hose repeatedly. Overall, I'm happy with this garden hose.
