I got this to connect a rain barrel to a soaker hose a short distance away, so that I can simply open the spigot on the barrel to water my garden in between rains. Since it will be lying out in the sun and weather every day, I wanted to get a pretty durable hose that will last a while. Essentially a larger version of the standard shower wand hose, the flexible steel exterior is durable and provides a cleaner look for situations where you need a short length of hose. The metal sheathing does conduct heat very well so use out in the summer sun or with hot water makes is difficult to handle.     • Best hose I've ever had
I am floored at how much I love this hose. Just the sensation of it in my hand is satisfying as it glides and rolls to adjust and correct itself as you're working with it. I only wish it was longer than 12 ft but that's not a big enough complaint to change how I feel about it. I easily attached it to a standard 50 ft garden hose and had absolutely zero issues with it kinking while the garden hose was constantly knotting and kinking. I could move around easily with the steel hose but had to go back to fix the rubber one any time I needed more length. I used this to water my plants with ease but the best part was using it to fill our 20 gal fish tank. This eliminated the constant back and forth in order to fill it and I didn't worry at all about it flopping around and soaking my house while working with it. It's made these hobbies so much more pleasant. I would absolutely buy more of these just so I'd never have to use a rubber hose again. It's movements are seamless and it's still flexible enough to roll up and store. This gets a million thumbs up from me. ... show more

I got this 12-foot metal hose to use in my bathroom. I purchased a drain cleaning bladder kit that requires a hose to clear a clogged drain. The length of the hose is perfect for using inside the house. It's very supple--almost like the segments on a snake--giving it easy maneuverability. It attached to the bladder without leakage, which is good because that's how the pressure is held for completing the job. The hose can be coiled for easy storage.
