DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO USE WIRELESS BLUETOOTH OR CAR PLAY! I installed this in my 2005 Chevy Colorado and Bluetooth, CarPlay, and WiFi isn’t working. I’m using an IPhone 16 Pro Max and it doesn’t recognize signals from the radio head unit. The regular radio does work. I’m about to attempt a software update via thumb drive and I’ll update this review if it fixes it. I’m not hopeful. However, customer support emails back quickly and I found that nice.

The stereo works great but I am waiting on the correct Canbus settings for my specific vehicle. The mounting holes don’t line up with the factory mounts so be sure to grab an install kit depending on your vehicle model. Other than that it works great, do your research though. I’ve purchased 6 of these variants for my Toyotas and they all work fine. Each one requires different settings and different wiring completely. The box comes with just about everything you need but they aren’t built to match specific vehicle model harnesses. Be sure to grab the correct harness hit and you will need to either solder the connections or crimp them yourself. So if it’s your first time don’t expect a big win day one. The screen is bright and clear, easy hook up for car play and the sound is crisp with a ton of options for customization. Update. CANBUs settings found and they work. The recommended harness works and sounds better than the top dollar ones .

First off, I am an installer of 21 years, so not technologically challenged. I would normally not use such an inexpensive stereo for an install, but my customer wanted an option in this price range...never again. The Bluetooth feature does not work at all. I tried connecting multiple phones. They all connect but then immediately disconnect. Tried to use the wired USB connection with android auto and it worked for a few hours. Reset the system and it worked again for a few hours, then it just locks up. The operating system software is also very difficult to use and is clunky at beat. Spend more and get a better unit.

I've had it for about a month now and I'm absolutely loving this thing. It's an android tablet and you can install YouTube and Netflix and basically anything you can put on a normal Android tablet you can put it on here. You can just turn the hotspot on on your phone and connect it that way and stream whatever you want. That also means that you can install things like retroarch or Xbox streaming and play games on it. This truly is an awesome device to have in your vehicle. The Android auto and carplay function works as it's intended to work you just have to have some patience whenever you first start up the vehicle for it to connect. Sometimes it disconnects randomly and you'll have to close the app on the tablet and then reopen it or just switch over to Bluetooth mode. It also has wired to USB but I didn't leave that out whenever I installed it so I haven't messed with it at all. I wish I had pictures to post with this review but I wiped my phone recently so I don't have any. Something I had to find out the hard way was that when you're wiring it all up you need to run the ignition line into the ignition switch or the radio will stay on. I just patched mine into the cigarette lighter. It was super easy. Also the display does detach from the head unit and there's a ribbon cable. It's kind of hard to unplug but you can unplug it to help make the installation a little bit easier in order to get the head unit and the display to fit properly in the dash kit. It has the ability to change the brightness but it doesn't change very much in my opinion however if you swipe down like a notification bar there's an option to just turn off the display entirely. If I know where I'm going I like to drive with the cab is dark as possible so I turn All the lights off on the dash and the radio. The sound quality is exactly how I expected to be nothing more nothing less. It comes with a GPS tracker that you can install as well as a backup camera. I didn't use either one of those but it's nice that they come with it.

I felt like I was taking a risk when buying this because it was ether good reviews or awful ones saying to stay away. I figure I would give it a try, worst case scenario I can return if it does not work. I installed in my 2007 sequoia, was not a perfect fit in the space for the box but I made it work, instal was not hard, I have hardly any experience with connecting cables I just colored match and switched some around. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and has been great I have few complaints, such a sometimes screen is too dim and I can’t see when it’s too bright outside. Does have a little glitches here and there but it does not happen often. I mostly just use it for Apple CarPlay, have not used the other apps like Netflix and such. I am happy with my purchase so far. The screen is responsive and connection to CarPlay is decent. It’s a cheap model so I don’t expect it to be the Best but for the price it’s very good. I did feel like I took a hit on the audio department but with some tweaking and tuning I got as close as I could to the sound I wanted. If you are minimal like me were you just use it for CarPlay this will be a great option, just be patient when setting up or have a professional do it for best results. Would have been 5 stars if it didn’t glitch out a little but it’s VERY minor and easy to fix with just disconnecting or turning off radio and turn it back on.
