Great product and great customer support. I had fm transmitter and it absolutely sucked. I hated it. Once I seen the radio go on sale I ordered and installed it within the week. Installation was straight forward and had no problems. Instructions were clear and correct. You will have no problems installing it if you know a little bit about wiring. Immediately after installing this radio it runs smooth looks very nice in my car and I like the big screen. Music clarity and loudness drastically improved by 100%. It unlocked the full potential of factory bose speaker plus with my sub set up connected as well. You hear me coming a mile away before you see me. I contacted customer service to help me set up start up screen and wallpaper and they were really nice and very helpful. I picked this up as an upgrade for my 2019 Nissan Versa and have been really happy with it. For the money, it’s hard to complain about what you’re getting. It gives the car a much more modern feel without having to spend a ton on a head unit. The audio is one of the things that surprised me the most. There are plenty of adjustment options, and the EQ is easy to use when you want to fine-tune the sound. The menus are also simple to navigate instead of being confusing or overloaded with unnecessary settings. Android Auto has been working great wirelessly, which is probably my favorite feature. The hands-free microphone is also surprisingly good, and there’s an additional microphone included if you want to mount one separately. You also get USB connectivity for wired Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, AUX/RCA inputs, and a backup camera included with the unit. Overall, this is a really nice way to bring the 2019 Versa into the modern age. It looks clean, works well, and adds a lot of features for the price. ... show more

Great radio. It has a great sound and mirrors your phone. For Car play you will have to use original cable else it won’t connect to car play. Screen is bright and vibrant. Looks really good. I haven’t played video yet. But im sure it will be great. Functions well. Might have to do a little fabrication, but it’s worth it depending on cat or truck you pot it in. Very satisfied with this purchase. Phone Bluetooth sound good when talking on phone. There’s 2 cables. Only one works for car play. If not you so get error as seen on pictures. If you get that error. Grab the original usb cord. Attach it to the USB from the back of the radio. It will not if you plug it to the front of the radio as shown. There’s 2 cables that come with it. One says car play Android play. The other one says USB2. It will not work on USB2. Then you will have car play and apps. I have subs and they amps and it of quality sound ... show more

I recently installed the Kissound 10.1-inch car radio, and overall, I’m really impressed with it. The Android Auto connection is quick—none of that “let me sit here for 5 minutes wondering if my phone and radio are still getting to know each other” nonsense. 😂 The 10.1-inch screen is a great size, and the picture quality is really good. It’s bright, clear, and makes my truck feel like it got a technology upgrade without me having to sell a kidney. One of my favorite features is the colorful LED lighting that moves with the music. It definitely adds some personality to the truck. The customizable wallpaper is another nice touch. I was able to choose one that matched my truck, which makes the whole setup look much more factory and personalized. The sound quality is also surprisingly good. And the USB-C port supports fast charging, which is a huge plus because my phone apparently believes it’s my job to keep its battery alive 24/7. The customer support team deserves a shout-out too. They were helpful and actually responded when I needed assistance, which seems like it should be normal…but we all know that's not always the case. There are only a couple of things I wasn't crazy about. I don't love the location of the USB-C port—I think it could have been placed somewhere more convenient. Also, the phone mirroring works with YouTube but doesn't work with Netflix or Hulu, which was a little disappointing. Although, maybe that's a good thing because apparently I’m supposed to watch the road instead of an entire season of a show while driving. 😂 Overall, I’m very happy with the radio. It looks good, sounds good, connects quickly, has some really cool features, and the support team was great when I needed help. 4 stars from me. Let’s start off with the packaging, it was neatly packed and everything is individually wrapped. This makes identifying pieces a breeze. The installation is simple. I’d recommend getting a wiring adaptor for your vehicle’s harness so that way you don’t have to splice wires. Also grab a few butt end caps for crimping the wires together. As for the fit is say it’s good, slides right into a double din receiver without any issues. It does stick out a bit so keep that in mind if you want a flush mount fit. I’ve only used this with Apple car play and I have to say it works flawless. It boots up faster than most OEM stereos and the responsiveness it clear. Good quality audio too. Overall I’d recommend this to anyone who wants an upgrade for their vehicle. ... show more

Overall, I'm very happy with this head unit, I installed it in my 2008 Tundra with the JBL system and I have way more control with this than the stock unit. It doesn't look awkward on the dash. The display is crisp, clear, responsive, and it doesn't wash out in the light. Navigating all controls is easy, and I LOVE that it has a volume knob! Also super convenient that pressing the knob mutes the stereo. More often than not, I use the wireless Android Auto and have experienced zero issues with it. It connects quickly upon startup and is playing music before I'm out of the driveway. Installation was fairly straightforward, but there is a ton of room for frustration. I used a Metra dash kit (double-din), and in theory there are MANY ways to mount the unit as most are fairly standardized. However, this one is fairly shallow on the back side but includes a metal sleeve that allows you to expand the number of mounting options. This sleeve is larger than a standard double-din kit though, which means that it was useless in my application. I was able to work around this by removing the sleeve from the head unit and using a pair of included brackets. The reason this was necessary for my application is because of the beloved volume knob; the panel below the stereo must come out before removing the head unit, so I needed to pull it forward for clearance purposes. Wiring-wise, it was really easy after I found a harness compatible with the JBL system. It will also be very easy to add aftermarket components later as the wiring has many flexible options. Everything is labeled, all plugs are their own size, and there is no mistaking where things need to go. The issues I see are quite limited. 1. The microphone and camera are flimsy and feel cheap. The cord for the microphone is *just* long enough to be routed behind the dash to mount on the near side of the steering wheel (not my ideal location) and the wiring for the camera is likewise short for a full size truck. The wires are also thin to the point that I may upgrade those individual pieces down the road. 2. I was hoping for a bit more low-end control out of this unit, but the bass is lacking in comparison to stock. I was planning on installing an aftermarket sub anyway, so this isn't a hill I'll die on. 3. I had a difficult time getting all of the steering wheel controls to work correctly. The instructions are on the screen within the options menu to program buttons, an I had initial success with Vol+ and Vol-, then moved on to skip+. Somehow, all steering wheel buttons then only skipped. Eventually, I got those three buttons to work the way they're supposed to and promptly admitted defeat. This is a great unit, if you only really want the basics, because a lot of the advertised features don't work. For example, after 5 days of very frustratingly corresponding with Kiss Sounds tech support, I was finally able to ad a custom image to the boot up screen. (neat?) I still can't add custom wallpapers...but I give up. My steering wheel controls still don't work, even thought its advertised they will. I had it professionally installed, and the installers say it won't work. Tech support says it will...if I buy extra parts...they won't tell me which...but I give up. Now, the good news is this this is beautiful, sounds great, gorgeous screen, great EQ, etc. So if you can live without those other things (steering wheel control, custom wallpaper, etc.) and just want the stereo, this ones a lot of fun for very little money. Three stars only because it's been frustrating learning these things...if I had known these things in advance, I might have given it 5 stars. ... show more

My only complaint is that I could not use the screen mirror feature that they advertise, otherwise this would be a 5 start review, I've tried several different USB cables with no success, but it works very good on Android Auto.. sound is good, screen is responsive, bright enough and it doesn't look cheap like a lot of screens at this price range.
