I purchased this portable AC for my office after the wall-mounted AC stopped working. This unit is perfect for a medium-sized room and cools the space surprisingly fast. Assembly took less than 30 minutes, and since I have a standard-sized window, installation was straightforward. I didn’t have to cut or modify any of the window kit components. There are also plenty of helpful installation videos available online if needed. I use it almost all day, especially on very hot days when temperatures reach 90–95°F, and it performs well. It comes with both a remote control and a mobile app. I especially like the app because it makes controlling the unit very convenient and user-friendly. Two things some buyers may be concerned about are the exhaust hose and the noise level. For me, the exhaust hose is hidden behind the curtains, so it’s barely noticeable. I live in a small upstairs bedroom that tends to get really hot during the summer, especially at night. I didn’t want to install a permanent unit, so I decided to try a portable air conditioner instead. Right out of the box, it was packaged well and didn’t feel cheap. Setup was straightforward and I had it running pretty quickly. I placed it near the window and it immediately started cooling the room down in a noticeable way. What I like most is the flexibility. I can switch between cool, fan, dry, and sleep modes depending on the time of day. The remote is convenient, but I’ve also used the app on my phone which makes it easy to adjust things without getting up. I even tried the voice feature once and it worked fine, though I mostly stick to manual control. It keeps my room comfortable even on really hot afternoons, and the timer is helpful at night so it doesn’t run all night. It’s been a solid addition for staying comfortable without a complicated installation. Definitely made summer nights much easier to sleep through and I would recommend it for anyone dealing with heat in small spaces. ... show more

Decent air conditioner but has trouble with high heat indexes. You have to set up a drain for it if there's any high humidity at all. It will not self evaporate if it's really humid. Would probably do better in a smaller room or a room that could be closed off. For people who are super sensitive to smells, there is a slight odor. It kind of smells like air conditioning units in a hotel room. It definitely didn't bother me at all but if you're sensitive you'll notice it. It is a little noisy kind of like a heavy duty fan but I don't think it's probably any noisier than any other air conditioner. I bought this purposely for our high heat warnings in our area and it's doing okay but it's struggling to keep up with the high humidity and 100° heat index. ... show more

It’s supposed to be 42 db but it’s actually 52 db which is a substantial difference. Thats running it at the lowest fan setting. Also even though I haven’t made an exact measurement, I’m pretty sure that it used much more electricity than advertised.

Excellent air conditioner! Is quiet compared to window machines. Is cooling my 2 rooms down excellently on 68 degrees/medium fan setting. Easy to install. It is heavy! Needed two of us to carry the box and get out of the box! Love the fanciness of it, the options and the remote!

The product is very good. But when I want to return it for some other reasons like the accidentally broken window panels, the hidden shipping fee is huge. It’s not free return at all.
