Pretty chrome finish. Rod comes in 3 pieces. 2 are longer and one shorter piece to use or not to make the rod longer. They just screw together. Very sturdy.

We received these last week and are very pleased with the entire product. They went together extremely easy. They're light weight, but able to hold up heavy thermal curtains without any stress. The hardest thing was removing the old rods to replace with these.

One piece was bent and couldn't be used but I didn't need it for the window anyway. Second rod was out of round when assembled I bought 2. They Look good and you can't tell that one is warped slightly.

Uhhhhhhm so where to begin. This product is perfectly fine. the pieces screw in together. the curtain hangs on it. it is incredibly unlikely to break and looks like the product pictures. the pieces are broken down in to set lengths so if you want longer or shorter you can just take a pole out. Obviously, this means you are not getting the perfect fit 90% of the time. You're buying like the cheapest curtain rods on amazon so wtf do you expect. but it works legitimately perfectly and all i did was just install the hooks a bit wider than my window size so now it looks like my window is slightly wider. Needed to buy and put-up curtains in our garage so this rod worked great. The old ones were light duty and wouldn't worked with the heavier curtains, so we went with these, and it was perfect. Thanks will buy when i need new ones.

    • THESE ARE NOT TELESCOPING CURTAIN RODS

It is down-right dishonest to list these as 'telescoping' curtain rods. Every curtain rod anyone has ever seen that is described as telescoping are finitely adjustable, as the rods are two pieces and one slides into the other, allowing you to choose exactly the length you desire. These rods come in sections and you screw them together in fixed lengths-- possibly the lengths that most people require, but I was counting on getting a truly telescoping rod. There is a single photo that somewhat depicts this, but without context, it's impossible to know they aren't actually telescoping based on the description. Now my installation is sub-optimal due to the lack of adjustment as depicted in the description. And while they are fairly sturdy, mine were NOT straight. I was forced to spin the rod until it looked the straightest from the side and then lock them in with the screws on the mounts. The curve was extremely noticeable until I made this adjustment. These factors made my install much harder than it had to be and end result not exactly what my wife was hoping for-- I wish sellers would be held accountable for the words they use in their descriptions.
