  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Upgrade for Our Water Garden! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Upgrade for Our Water Garden!
The LANCHEZ 1.6HP Stainless Steel Sump Pump has been a fantastic upgrade to our water garden setup. It moves water efficiently and quietly — the low noise level was one of the first things I noticed. You can barely tell it’s running, even when it’s working hard. The automatic float switch is a huge plus. It gives me peace of mind knowing the pump will shut off on its own if water levels drop too low, especially during the fall when leaves can reduce flow into the pump box. No more worrying about the pump running dry or overheating. The overall build quality feels solid, and the stainless-steel housing looks durable enough to handle year-round use. Between the power, reliability, and smart safety features, this pump has made maintaining our water garden much easier. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, efficient, and dependable pump upgrade. ... show more

  • Superior quality and function
Have used numerous times and works so well and is such a well made item. All stainless. Tons of power. Replaced a smaller one and there is a huge difference in performance. Highly recommended.

  • Very good flow rate.
I’ve only hooked it up to use once as a test to confirm it will work for my application. Was very impressed on initial use. Due to an issue with the hose I connected it to, nothing to do with the pump, I didn’t run it long so can’t speak much to long term use yet and will try to update this review when I can. Note that the float switch is on a fairly long arm which needs at least 8-12” or so of clearance to move up and down in an arc. So this isn’t suitable for use in a cramped space. In a larger space it should be fine. ... show more

  • Poor Quality: Substandard raw material used in construction.
I purchased this submersible pump on 6/11/2025 and I have used it sparingly during the early spring and summer showers in Florida. It is primarily/only used to drain off excess water from my pool during the rainy periods in central Florida. Earlier this week 10/07/2025 I had to use it to drain off some water to the stabilized water line. After the task was completed 45 minutes later, I went to retire the pump from the pool to store it for my next drain-off session. Upon retrieving the pump, I saw a metal screw head that was lying under the pump. I was concerned because I keep my pool in immaculate condition year-round. I grabbed the skimmer and recovered the screw head. I recognized it as a broken part from the Lanchez submersible pump. Upon reviewing the pump, I noticed that there was a missing screw from the base. This was one of 4 screws that hold the retaining base cover to the body of the pump. Further review, I noticed that the screw head was rusted off the base cover, the remaining body of the screw was still attached to the base insert. A full review of the pump indicated that all the attachment screws had a rust circle around all the screw heads. In order to keep the pump working I had to purchase a full set of stainless steel matching screws at Lowes and install them after removing each screw visible from the outside, a total 13 screws at a cost of $12.00 plus tax. I am not being overly critical. But I am left wondering how can a company design, manufacture and sell a submersible pool pump with poor quality fasteners that rust their heads off in less than six months. The chrome plated finish is tarnished with rest spots which I removed using WD-40. As the end user and consumer. I demand better quality products for my money. Amazon need to monitor the merchants that ply their trade on its website. I do not think I should have to pay for this items or havethe headache to complete repairs within 6-months. You promised to replace this item because the retaining screws used to assemble this product was of poor quality. I have waited long enough. The replacement is not here. I am hereby requesting a full refund of my purchase price of $92.99. ... show more

  • Great pump
the paddle because is long and catches on the side of the sump wall; Had figured out the clip that holds the paddle cable will allow shortening the float side just by pulling it back through the clamp. The flexible pvc hose is the best for pulling this pump out to check it. I have a bunch of junk that makes its way to the sump and added a nylon bag to prevent thick lint and paint chips from making way to the plastic impeller. I would have liked if the impeller was cast iron or stainless steel. For $79 Dollars US i am happy with such a powerful pump that sucks out the water in a matter of a few minutes instead of a wimpy 1/6hp that would burn up before discharging one cycle. Have had it now for several weeks and had multiple rain without issues of flooding. Would recommend and will buy again and add a second sump trap for backup. Hardly ever hear pump running because it takes so little time to empty the sump; I do jave a long drain tile around the perimeter of the inside wall and a large heavy old 33 gallon trash can sump. I will buy again, and may get a spare to empty the pool. Best pump I’ve had found of many purchased in the past. ... show more

  • Props where its due
Ok so let me say up front im not a fan of the float as im using it to pump out a large hole (about 40x40 square and about 17' deep) for it to dry out so I can turn it into a swing hole... well due to weather 9

  • Sturdy and worth the price!
Worth the money. I drained a 13000 gallon pool fairly quickly.
