Perfect for replacements. Watch for the metal may need to cover with pool noodle. It’s very sharp and cut my kid who didn’t realize and hand her foot hanging over the pool unknowingly sliced it on the metal.

Installation was pretty easy. They seem to be of a good quality and sturdy enough to rough handle while pushing/slipping them on to the pool appliances. Since they are made of the thicker/harder plastic then some other brands, they tent to not seal 100%. Some of the connections developed very slight leak, wet spot under the hose, small drop every 20-30 sec. tryin to tighten the clamps i stripped 4 of them, even just screwdriver hand tight. To solve that problem, i cut 1-2 inch off of old bicycle tire tube and slipped it on to the appliance before installing the hose. then slipped hose over the "new gasket" and hand tighten the clamp. 0 leak since. ... show more
