This is a great set! The price I paid $175 can not be beat for the great quality of this set.I originally wanted the 12 pc set as seen at Bed Bath and Beyond, but how could I pass this deal up for HALF the price?! The pans look so nice coming out of the box. As I held one in my hand, it reminded me of my mother's old Rena Ware cookware - she's had them since she got married 30 years ago and they are still great pieces to cook with. The weight of these pans is distributed evenly and there is no extra "bottom" on the pots/pans for that weight/heat distribution as I've seen on many of the cookware sets at Sam's Club, Costco and department stores like JCPenney, Sears, Kohls, and Macy's (i.e. Wolfgang Puck, Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart, Kirkland Signature, JCP Cooks, etc.) I am used to cooking with Stainless Steel pans so I have no problem with sticking/burning food in these. These heat up nicely, so I'd say be careful to not let the pan get too hot or else it WILL stick and be sure to use that oil and/or butter - not a lot, just enough. I am very happy with my new set. I know by the look and feel of it - oh and I've used it quite a bit already since my purchase - that these are going to last a long time. In my opinion, this set is not just a great quality purchase, but also a great investment. I do not see myself having to replace these for many years - Hopefully as long my mom's Rena Ware! ... show more

I ordered these because I saw them being used on the food network shows. Now I know why they use them. These pots and pans are awesome!!! They are heavy and super sturdy. The food heats up so quickly. No wonder those chefs on "Chopped" can cook the food so quickly. Food doesn't really stick. If it does it comes off easily. The other cheaper cookware I always used from the department stores or Walmart can't compare. These are more expensive, but with quality like this, if they are taken care of, they will last a lifetime. I got rid of all my t-fal and other cookware and got another set of Henckels. The difference in how your food comes out is amazing. Food browns better and cooks perfectly even with little added oil or spray. It doesn't seem fair that everyone doesn't have them. ... show more

This is a beautiful set of cookware. I love the design and the way each piece distributes heat so evenly. Easy cleanup too. You can find triclad sets that cost more, but this performs just as well. Glad I bought them!!

First of all, take your time preheating, do not set these on high or even medium high, I've found they work best starting at right between medium and med- high on my infra red stove, most of the complaints I see are from sticking and burning, These are professional quality pans, and will preform as such, ANY pan will fail if you try to heat too high and too fast. I have made ice cream base, cream suace, steamed rice, Seared and braised pork chops , pan seared steaks, vegatables, I know these pans will preform perfectly for Sautee. They heat quickly and evenly and hold the heat, lids fit great but not too tight as to allow steam to escape. wish i bought these years ago. ONLY NEGATIVE is the pictures show measurement markings on the inside of the pans, They do not have. not a deal breaker as I do not need them, Also when i bought it stated HURRY only 5 left, now it shows 14. Regardless. these pans are perfect for the home cook/chef, Invest in some good High heat utinsels as well. ... show more

I should’ve read more closely. This series is cheaply made in China, not 18/10 stainless and the rivets are coming loose on my most frequently used skillet, all in less than 6 months. Any kind of proper high temp cooking scorches the crap out of the pan and you cannot get the brown discoloration off. I should’ve gone ahead and spent the $1200 on a 2nd set of All Clad for this 2nd home. Lesson learned. This is barely a step up from a set of Target cookware. Do yourself a favor and invest in quality rather than this six-month disposable junk. ... show more

I've had this set of pans in ceramic when I first got an induction stove and that ceramic coating is horrid and anything but 'non stick'. Every negative review about that ceramic coating is true. That being said, those pans performed exceptionally heat-wise well on the induction burners. I repurchased the plain steel ones and I am very happy with them. I wish I would have known about the ceramic ones ahead of time and saved myself the trouble. Ceramic = bad Plain stainless = good ... show more
