The sofa was too long, for my livingroom so I simply left the chaise unattached. The chaise looks great on it's own and like the sofa, adjust to lay flat if needed. This couch is soft and velvety and feels luxurious. It's beautiful. AND, very important to me-it's firm and good for my back. It lays back easily to use as a bed, so it works great for our overnight guests. I also love the cute little throw pillows that came with it. They're a bit on the small side, but no big deal. So… I bought this couch in May for my apartment because it was cute and it looked like a nice, comfy couch. It comes in and the L part of the couch had split wood and a loose hinge. I messaged the sender about it and they gave a refund and said I could use the refund to buy another one. We had already moved the hinge over to the side a bit where the wood was still intact and nor did we need 2 of the same couch, so we just decided to keep the one. Come to find out, we should’ve just bought a different couch entirely. It’s now September and the cushions have lost almost all.. well cushion, the metal “springs” or bars that hold up the memory foam can be felt every time you sit/lay down through the fabric (I’ve caught my clothes on it a couple of time, which, the middle of a couch cushion is a very odd place to have clothes catch). You have to careful where you sit or you’ll sit right on wood (couple guests weren’t happy about that, it hurts). Also, the 2 pieces aren’t and don’t connect, you have to get more equipment at the store in order to connect them or they just keep coming apart when you sit down since they’re so light. You’d think it’d be included but ok. I’m grateful for the refund(even if it was given to me to buy the same couch twice) but I was expecting a lot more for a $600+ couch. It’s nice if you wanna just look at it in a room, but it’s not for lounging unfortunately. Update: there’s now a hole in it because the stitching came undone somehow and the wood inside is falling apart leaving floating wood in the cushions… I recommend considering a different couch. Update to the update: the couch started to literally disintegrate so we just got a new one from fb marketplace… don’t get this couch.. it will not last ... show more

It is very much like it is in the picture. However, in the description, it states that the Ottoman has storage which it does not. The hardware and legs were not in a zipper under the couch. Instead, there was a rip in the mesh material underneath that held the legs and hardware. There is nothing that fastens the chase to the couch piece which could be good or bad. There are no words on the instructions just very hard to decipher diagrams. The furniture itself is firm, the velvet is nice and soft. it is what I expected except for the fact that I was disappointed that I did not have storage and that there was a rip on the underside which may not seem like a big deal but, you can see the material hanging from the bottom which does not look very good. Of course I will probably end up cutting it completely off but who likes to be cutting on their brand new furniture? After several months, the stuffing started to come up through the material which makes it look as if there are little "fuzzy" all over it. It makes it look cheap and unclean. I contacted the seller who confirmed that the cushions were defective and he offered a $100 refund in order to purchase a couch cover. When I explained that there were no covers that fit a couch with these reclining features and that a cover would only conceal the rivets and tufts which is part of its charm, I was sent a rude email that stated they would give me the $100 refund and that was it and that "any other furniture store would not give me a cent!" ... show more

Over all i love my velvet black convertible couch. I have had it for 2 weeks now. My son and I tested out the layout convertible bed part last weekend after eating lots of pizza. We slept so good on the couch. It is a little hard but thats good. You will have to break in the couch. I only had a issue with a damaged arm. Fabric came torn up. so thats why i did not put my arm rest onto my couch. I contacted the seller, He is extremely nice and a fast responder. He does satisfy any needs that you will like. I was offered a refund or a replacement. I love my couch. You all will too!! 😊😊 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Just get it! It’s exactly as it is in the picture. Soft, beautiful, comfy and definitely sturdy (I’ve made sure to check that it was lol). It fits perfectly in my apartment it’s exactly what I was looking for. Delivery was soooo fast!!!
