Over all i love my velvet black convertible couch. I have had it for 2 weeks now. My son and I tested out the layout convertible bed part last weekend after eating lots of pizza. We slept so good on the couch. It is a little hard but thats good. You will have to break in the couch. I only had a issue with a damaged arm. Fabric came torn up. so thats why i did not put my arm rest onto my couch. I contacted the seller, He is extremely nice and a fast responder. He does satisfy any needs that you will like. Complete and honest transparency - the couch is large, which is good and it folds out flat into a bed. However, it is SO uncomfortable. Each "cushion section" that you sit on is separated by wood boards, so if you're not sitting in the middle of one cushion, you will be sitting on a hard board, therefore, it is extremely uncomfortable to lay out on the couch because you're going to have wood boards pressed against your body. Separately, one of the backs (that lays down unto a bed) stopped sitting up straight, so now I have to lay it out flat while the other two backs sit up. This couch fits perfectly in my limited space at an apartment home, it's soft & comfy my kids love it you can take an afternoon nap on the chase. It is very much like it is in the picture. However, in the description, it states that the Ottoman has storage which it does not. The hardware and legs were not in a zipper under the couch. Instead, there was a rip in the mesh material underneath that held the legs and hardware. There is nothing that fastens the chase to the couch piece which could be good or bad. There are no words on the instructions just very hard to decipher diagrams. The furniture itself is firm, the velvet is nice and soft. it is what I expected except for the fact that I was disappointed that I did not have storage and that there was a rip on the underside which may not seem like a big deal but, you can see the material hanging from the bottom which does not look very good. Of course I will probably end up cutting it completely off but who likes to be cutting on their brand new furniture? After several months, the stuffing started to come up through the material which makes it look as if there are little "fuzzy" all over it. It makes it look cheap and unclean. I contacted the seller who confirmed that the cushions were defective and he offered a $100 refund in order to purchase a couch cover. When I explained that there were no covers that fit a couch with these reclining features and that a cover would only conceal the rivets and tufts which is part of its charm, I was sent a rude email that stated they would give me the $100 refund and that was it and that "any other furniture store would not give me a cent!" ... show more

I purchased the navy blue. Had a delivery issue, but customer service was ON IT, & took great care of me. The sofa is really gorgeous. It's definitely not small, very roomy, sturdy and VERY easy to assemble, even for me. It also comes with 2 pillows the color of the sofa. I haven't finished putting my living room together yet. $298. This couch is soft and velvety and feels luxurious. It's beautiful. AND, very important to me-it's firm and good for my back. It lays back easily to use as a bed, so it works great for our overnight guests. I also love the cute little throw pillows that came with it. They're a bit on the small side, but no big deal. The sofa was too long, for my livingroom so I simply left the chaise unattached. The chaise looks great on it's own and like the sofa, adjust to lay flat if needed.
