We ordered four of these chairs at 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon. The promised delivery date was the following Thursday (six days after order received.) Instead, the chairs were delivered on Sunday at noon, less than 48 hours after they were ordered. The chairs came two to a box and each box was easily carried by one person. Assembly was simple and took about 15 minutes for the first chair, then about 5 minutes each for subsequent chairs (once the assembly pattern was understood.) The slate color is exactly what we wanted and the chairs are very comfortable. Based on initial inspection and use, the chairs are well made, feel substantial and the gas operated height adjustment mechanism works very well. The imitation leather feels good and appears to be of durable material. The footrest seems to be in a good position to feel comfortable for most people. On balance, the quality of these chairs seems high, especially when compared to the price, making them an excellent overall value. ... show more

    • Squeaky but Meets My Needs

These are cute stools that fit nicely in my kitchen. They were a cinch to put together. I appreciate the rubber ring on the bottom to keep from scuffing up my floors. The one glitch -- they squeak when you swivel. Loudly. Maybe a shot of WD40 will fix but I haven't done that yet.

I bought two of these for my kitchen counter. They came quickly and were no more than 5 minutes to assemble each. It took more time to get them out of the packaging. Unfortunately, one of the bases had a couple of dings in the stainless finish. I contacted the vendor and they were quick to reply that they would send me a replacement base. Great customer service and a very nice chair. Everyone who has sat in it say that they find it very comfortable. It is easy to raise and lower and looks like a quality piece of furniture. We didn't want to put something that looked cheap in our brand new remodeled kitchen and this fits the bill. ... show more

I couldn't tell you about the product, as I've been waiting 5 weeks and still don't have a complete chair. It was supposed to originally be here in less than a week but was "lost" in shipping. 3 weeks later they finally sent another chair, which I had to wait another week for. It was not packaged well, and it arrived with the seat stem sticking out of the box and the base was missing. I contacted Zuri and they said they would send a base out, it took several days (3-4) before they finally sent that one and 5 weeks later I'm still waiting. I asked them to expedite the shipping as this has gone on too long, but they refused and sent it the slowest method available maybe someday I will have a complete chair, who knows, they certainly don't seem to know or care. UPDATE - finally received the missing base, after putting the chair together I sat on it (I am an average weight) not only did it want to tip forward as the base is too small, the screws pulled through the base and the chair fell apart within minutes. ... show more
