Just got this earlier this week. Took it out of the box today. Dropped a couple of AA batts in, and off it went. It has lots of power for a little circular wreath on a stick...makes a vortex all the way down to the bottom of the glass. For foaming milk, I'm certain it would excel. I tried it to mix up a protein drink, though, and mixing success...not so much. It moves the liquid all around and spins the powder well too, but actually BLENDING the materials didn't seem to work so well. When I turned it off, the powder would create a little spinning island in the middle of the liquid. Normally I mix these drinks up in a shaker jar with a coiled spring that bounces all around inside mixing and blending. That seems to be a better blender than this frother. Can't count it against the frother as that's not really what it's made to do. It has very small physical blending area and is meant really to move milk fats through the ring and froth them up like crazy, and I'm certain it'll do that very well, but for my particular application today, the actual physical metal that MIXES is just too small, I think, to properly BLEND. It's a FROTHER, not a blender, so I'm not disappointed :) It does what it's supposed to do, and it does that with power.     • Not sure how I feel about it

I was very excited to get this frother, as I had purchased a cheap one recently that seems to pick and choose when it wants to work but I love it when it does work. I received this the other day and have used it daily now for 4 days and I’m on the fence. First, it had some weird tiny thin stringy thing wrapped around the end like a hair had gotten caught in it while it was running (but it wasn’t a hair-it was like stretchy?). Found it after I cleaned it and used it so that was a bit gross. Second, I haven’t been able to get it to froth as I would like. It comes with a card to help you know proper temps for optimal frothing so I’ve been sure to follow it but I just don’t get it to froth as well as the other cheap one I have. It seems to stay mostly liquid no matter how fast or long I run it, it just isn’t as firm a froth as the other one. Could be user error at this point I just don’t know, though I use it exactly the same as my other. So 4 stars because it turns on and runs without a hitch but as far as froth I haven’t gotten it where I want. ... show more

I think this is a great product, good blending power (battery powered) and was easy to use. I also liked the size of the blender/whisk, and the accompanying stand was sturdy and a great addition. The packaging was good as well, came with some instruction and how to make froth inserts. Finally, I think the price is fair for what you get and can see why this product has high reviews. The few things I didn't like too much was that sometimes it made a mess when blending and that it scratched up my white cup. So just a heads up on that it. I gave this product a try for a few days, and just felt that I probably won't get much use out of it. However, I would recommend those who want a milk frother to give this a try and still feel that it's worth it for the price, even though it wasn't for me. ... show more

Trust me when I say I’ve tried plenty of frothers. The other ones I’ve tried were always okay I mean they got the job done but took forever to get thick but never omg out of this world amazing like the Zulay frother!!! It took me literally like 5 seconds to get whipped cream and coming from a iced coffee drinker who loves to make her own this is an absolute must have!! The blending power is out of this world any one who says otherwise prob bought cheap batteries …. Just buy now seriously you won’t be disappointed and no it’s not an ad or no I didn’t get this free and now leaving an review I was just in search of a new frother and compared and reviewed and decided on this one and omg am I being grateful I did!!
