These cameras were mounted with relative ease, I just had to make sure I didn’t fall off the ladder, LOL!! Wires were run through the soffits into the attic, and then down within a wall out to my home office room. As you can see, the system works well, after installing some time ago!

    • UPDATE: APP SUCKS AND SO DOES THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE
Product came nicely packaged. Set up is easy, just lots and lots of stringing cables. The first six cameras took me one evening to install. Picture was clear, DVR menu was easy to navigate. App was easy to set up on my phone and tablet. Seemed to work great for the first 8 hours. It recorded every freaking bug that flew past at night. Then the push notifications to my phone stopped. It stopped picking up anything. Uninstalled an reinstalled app...nothing. Email customer service. No response yet. No customer service number and the chat on the website isn't a "chat", it just searches the FAQ and gives you the same article repeatedly. So far I am not very impressed. Lets see if I get any response from the technical support group. Update: Customer service is nonexistent. The FB group Admin just keeps posting links to the same useless articles. Reaching out to Amazon to see if we can get a refund. ... show more

I ordered the kit and have laid it in my garage for several months before the installation. After running all the wires and mounting all cameras, it turned out that the DVR is defective. Distressed at first, I contacted Zosi and didn't know whether they can still warranty it due to the time lapsed. Cathy and Louis are very patient, walked me through all self-diagnostic steps and issued a replacement. That's customer service and shows the company stands behind their products. I have had nothing but problems since purchasing my new system. The dvr keeps shutting down and now the app won't accept my password. The previous one I had was great but this one has been a terror.

This is a good decent set up for a beginner. The 720p is fairly decent during the day but at night it is not that great, you are unable to see license plates or tell what the person's face looks like. But for the price it is hard to argue. I used all 16 channels and I am happy with it in dark areas I added solar flood lights that stay on all night to help see more of the dark zones. ... show more
