Camera's have been up and running for a week now. Everything works as expected. Bought the Western Digital hard drive as well. Installation was simple. I had a problem with the password reset but after a few emails with ZOSI they helped me fix my problem. Very happy with the resolution and picture quality. Included early morning picture. I can see outside before sun up better with the camera that with the naked eye. I have one channel not used yet as it will run to our barn once the livestock starts to give birth. Easy to install and setup. Hard to beat for the price. Performs well overall with only two major drawbacks - (1) there is a noticeable IR hot spot in the center of the videos when in night vision mode and (2) the motion detection is mediocre at best (for detecting motion or avoiding false triggers). If used in full-time record mode I would have few complaints. I may try to devise a way to diffuse (scatter) the light from the IR LEDs. Update - I encountered a minor problem after a couple months of operation but ZOSI support (Coco) quickly resolved the issue. Excellent and timely support service. ... show more

I have purchased two of these systems. This is a great entry level system for the price point, especially considering that it can be expanded to 8 cameras. The picture quality is good and the the cameras seem to be well built. The software is well laid out and user friendly. The only down point is that of the two systems I purchased one out of the four power/av cables did not work and I had to purchase two separately to get the system fully operational, this isn't too usual because I've had the same issue with other system. I suggest when purchasing not only this system but any camera security system to purchase at least one extra power/av cable, even if you don't have to initially use it, they're good to have around just in case one goes out in the future because it does happen. ... show more

I got this to deal with a stalker issue. The DVR and Camera's work excellent. The app and connectivity to it is aweful. Costumers service, going through Zosi offical site or attached to this product absolutely will drive you mad. First you will be asked more then ten times is your firewall off. Is DHCP on/ Enabled. Is UNPN enabled. Is your router hooked up to the device. Did you hit Obtain I. P and see OK. Does the device show yoyr connected. (What they dont ask you twenty plus times.) No one mentions port forwarding. No one asks about unplugging or replugging in your hard disk. Are you using a switch. Did you try setting up the Wifi in the unit. Long Story short it should be easy plugg and play. It should be an amazing value for the money. And it is ... Just expect the App and connection to said App to be a major pain in your ass. Also do not contact costumer service/Tech support. Unless you want to be asked the same questions multiple times even if you show screen shots demobstrating your speaking the truth. I.E shot of your main screen showing Ok youve aquired an I.P. Showing your device says Connected. Showibg your app says cant connecte to device Or failure to connect. Picture of both your router and system Eithernet cable blinking/ receiving and sending signal. Just be warned im bot saying dont buy this im just saying pain in the ass if you want remote viewing. Great if you want a system to monitor your home without remote viewing. ... show more

I spent about $90 on this system not expecting much.. WOW was I wrong! I have had $200 HD ip cameras and this system and all of its cameras out perform any HD IP camera I have ever had. I am not only buying another one of these.. I am actually buying the 8 ch. 8 camera version for only about $20 more then the 4 camera system cost. I can actually see my Koi swimming in my ponds at night, the night vision is that good on these cameras!!! Lets just say I am blown away by this system and knowing how well these worked and the ease of setting up the entire system including the QR scan code it provides so you can use your tablet or cell phone to monitor from anywhere. Do I recommend this system? I can not remember another product I have ever bought I would recommend more!!! ... show more
