No. This is a wired analog (HD-TVI) surveillance camera. It requires a direct connection via coaxial cable to a compatible DVR system for both video and power. It cannot connect to WiFi. Is this camera compatible with existing Zosi DVR systems? It is compatible with many ZOSI DVR systems. However, some older models manufactured before 2024 may not support audio, resulting in no sound. I connected the camera, but there's no sound. Why? Your DVR must specifically support audio over the coaxial cable. Many older or budget DVRs do not have this capability. Does it have two-way audio? No. This camera supports incoming audio only (listening) via its microphone. It does not support outgoing audio (speaking) as there is no speaker. What kind of recorder (DVR) do I need for this camera? For full compatibility and optimal performance, we recommend an HD-TVI compatible ZOSI DVR. I bought the ZOSI 4PACK 1920TVL 1080P 4-in-1 HD TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras 100ft Night Vision CCTV Cameras Home Security Day/Night Waterproof Camera for 960H/ 720P / 1080N / 1080P Analog DVR Systems cameras to start replacing a 10 year old camera system already in place that was starting to become more of a nuisance than a surveillance system. The old cameras became so bad that someone walking directly in front of the cameras couldn’t be identified 10 feet away. Because I work in a prison, I have higher security surveillance in some areas and less critical lower security surveillance in others. I chose 3 different camera styles with different viewing capabilities for the areas I was trying to surveil. One of the requirements I had to have was total compatibility with my current system and there was no problem with any of the cameras that I hooked up- basically plug and play. After reviewing footage of these cameras, I was extremely impressed with the clarity of the video and in the application I needed these cameras for, I had to have a wide angle view to cover a lot of ground. I then installed 2 (for a total of 8 cameras) ZOSI 4 Pack 2.0 Megapixel HD 1080P 4 in 1 TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras Day Night Waterproof Camera 100ft IR Distance For HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS/960H analog DVR System cameras for roof placement and my larger areas like the gymnasium. While I was installing one of the cameras, as soon as it was turned on, it fogged up and gave me a “No Signal” error. I replaced it with a spare that I had and had no further problems. Image quality was phenomenal and I had better coverage than my previous setup. The last 4 cameras I bought were ZOSI 2.0 Megapixel HD 1080P 4 in 1 TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras Day Night Waterproof Camera 65ft IR Distance, Compatible for HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS/960H analog DVR ones that replaced some of my internal cameras around our Culinary department and visiting areas. And again, I had no complaints with the quality of the images. After about a month of continuous use, one of my first 4 cameras displayed images that began to turn green, then purple, and then faded to black. I had lost the image completely. As I only had access to email since I work graveyards and most people are comfortably asleep in their beds, I contacted Zosi Customer Service and explained the circumstances of my failed cameras. Within a day, Coco had contacted me for more details of the malfunctions. After I sent model and serial numbers for the defective cameras, she sent me two replacement cameras without waiting for the faulty ones to be sent in. For me, that was a first! The usual process has always been- File a claim, wait for a return label, wait for the company to receive the product, then wait some more for them to tell me it was something I did, then argue back and forth until they reluctantly send me a replacement. In this case- not a single complaint about how the claim was handled and Coco was absolutely great! She was able to get back with me within a day or two at most and had all my questions answered and new cameras sent to me- all right before Christmas! I bought this security system last December it layed around here for awhile. I decided to connect it. I thought this would be an easy job since I'm in that kind of work getting your hands dirty! I proceeded to install this system right from the beginning I knew I was in trouble, I had no idea what I was doing! I had wires running everywhere, starting with the data line, router is in the house spare bedroom/store room, system is in the Cave/Garage which is a separate building, when we bought the place we put concrete in the backyard, I ran all the electrical (240v), phone lines, gas, water and cable line before we poured the cement figured I wasnt going to be running anything else. The the age of computers came with all its growing technology! Everyone has security cameras even us in the house on a separate system, I paid for the installation now I know why it took 3 days to do it. They ran everything up in the attic and hid all the wires, compared to my setup everything was remember the word "was" I had the router cable coming out of the door actually hanging on the door trim through the hall into the kitchen hanging on the fridge then oven to a cupboard where the corn flakes are kept hanging off of the boxes over to the laundry room then out the backdoor laid it on the ground and put orange cones out warning people there was live electrical wires on the ground. If I would of said data cable they would of trampled over them, making my way in to the Cave being very careful not to put the cable where the doors could pinch it then finally making the system! I hooked up a couple of cameras basically the same way but the wires stayed outside. Doing all of that work mostly figuring out what I was doing took 3-4 days. Then it didn't work!! I looked the the manual some thing I rarely do and did what it said but no internet connection, one camera worked. Few days pass and my 90 day limit is coming up. Customer Service Support, I wasn't looking forward to that after coming off two very bad experiences with two major retailers. I swear they did everything they could do to lose me as a customer and they successfully succeeded I will no longer deal with them or their products and they have the nerve to refer me as an outstanding customer I blocked their emails and websites. So I was getting ready to do battle with Amazon and Zosi, Amazon kindly passed me over to Zosi I left a message saying what wasn't happening. Our time difference is off so I can't get mad about that. This person responded. His name is Jar he very politely told me what to do and if it didn't work for me not to worry he would work on it until it does! Jar knows his stuff at first I wasn't sure what to expect but he took those worries away. He gave me step by step instructions on what to do finally after nothing worked he suggested to check the cable and make sure it was making connections on both ends. I didn't think about that because that was a new cable I had ordered and it didn't work! I looked around in my stock pile of goods I should of thrown away but didn't and I found one long enough about a 100 meters that worked! I told Jar I had to run all the lines in the attic so they'll be out of sight. Biggest problem was getting the lines from the Cave to the house and I wasn't going to bust up any cement, so I went over head, that was a job in it's self, first I ran one set of cables, why, I have no idea why I did it that way so I had to run another protective casing this time I put a bigger gang box, incase I had to run more lines, I did so I have 3 running across. Through this whole time Jar has encouraged me to keep going, I tried send him some pictures but they weren't going through, we figured out a way to do it. Sent him some pics of my handy work he was pleased! I wish I could of did this faster but I'm a one man team. I work so I can't dedicate all my time to this. We had some major rain storms in California as everyone knows we been in a 20 year drought our freeways were flooded. My clientele kept me busy and I have an on going medical issue, when it flairs up I can't do anything. In a couple of weeks I'm scheduled for surgery. I have some of the best Dr's taking care of me, so I have no doubt he will take care of this issue. Jar has been very patient with me and I appreciate him for that and for all of his help, I would of packed the system up and returned it if it wasn't for Jar, he answered every question I've asked, he literally took me by my hand and walked me step by step on this system! That is what I call Customer Service, Jar and Zosi are second to no one when it comes to explaining how to install and understand these systems and he's given me good advice on my bad decisions to buy certain PTZ cameras and he guided me to buy the right one and I just purchased my second PTZ camera, since I was here it was time to write this review. It was made possible only with Jar guiding me through something I has no business doing. Now I can put security camera system installation on my resume!     • WARNING: Adjustment screw can't be turned leaving it pointing straight outward.
The color is washed out but the image is clear enough that I would have kept these if I could have physically adjusted the camera to aim where I need it to aim. The screw that allows the camera to pivot for aiming it in any other direction than straight outward WOULD NOT TURN. It has a rounded head so grabbing it with another tool isn't possible. I didn't want to try drilling it out on all four of my brand new cameras. I also don't happen to have any WD40 to try and loosen the thing. In my attempts to turn the screw even the slightest amount the head was stripped out by my brand new hand held screw driver. These are a frustrating nightmare. AVIOD.
