This phone mount works well. It comes in a nice carrying bag. The magnet is very strong, no worries about it slipping or coming off which is great. The ball and socket joint at the back makes it easy to turn in whatever direction you need it to go, but I think that convenient feature is perhaps the reason why this mount is quite shaky as you drive around. When parked it's great, but if I'm trying to do something while the cart is in motion it's difficult. The phone arms hold my phone very securely, I was afraid that the curvature at the bottom would get in the way, but it's been no problem. The arms are not on a spring, so you screw the arms tightly and then have to unscrew them to get the phone out. This is not a problem for me, but if you need to get your phone in and out quickly multiple times it might be a factor. Overall I'm very happy with it, I love having my phone mounted conveniently where I can see it to use apps or answer a message if I need to.

Thought the magnet phone holder would be best. I was wrong. I had to drive slower and be real cautious of bumps. Mount fell off multiple times during first round causing scratches and wear on phone. Advise to get one with a Velcro strap.

I'm partial to magnetic stuff. I used to have a magnetic case on my phone, but you can't charge it wireless like that. this fixes that problem. I use my phone a lot and need to put it up to use both hands. I thought I was about to break it. I couldn't figure out how to open the clamp where the phone goes. I was pulling it apart, and it wasn't budging. (Just like all the other phone holders I've ever come across.) There's a knob on the side you have to unscrew/screw. When you get it open far enough, screw it back in. You've gotta give it some torque though, or your phone will fall out. After you put the ball in the joints, it won't fit back in the velvety bag, so the bag is, IMO, a waste. I guess you can reuse it as a gift bag, eh?

My husband has complained a lot about keeping his phone findable in the golf cart, especially when passengers are riding with him. This device has solved that problem. He can attach it and answer and make calls without ever having to remove it. The holder is easy to install and holds his phone very securely. He can even activate video to record while he's driving. He really loves this holder and is so glad I got it for him.

1. Able to hold just about any modern smartphone 2. Flexible design 3. Super strong magnet that I have yet to have fall off, even in some rough terrain conditions 4. Nice soft sided bag to carry all the pieces, great for traveling My only wish is that it had a easier quick release. While the thumb screw also it to be really secure, it doesn't require a bit more if you want to remove the device quickly.
