The battery life is very good. I assembled the bike myself. If you are mechanically inclined, It can be done. Be aware of the front and rear brakes. It may require adjustments. The bike performance is what I expected. Take your time in reading and learning about the bike.

I'm only giving it four stars because we put it together and The handlebar part was on backwards and we had to flip it around and that shouldn't have been backwards it made everything so much more difficult and some of the pieces that you do have to put on or extremely tight squeeze to try to get them on and screw them on. Other than that the speed is well fast. The quality of the bike is really well. The portability is pretty heavy to carry in and out of the house. Don't believe the 300 lb. capacity claim. This thing is cheap, light duty & not worth the money! The "easy return" part is a joke also. NOT FREE RETURN SHIPPING!! Tires literally fell off the rims. Creeks and moans and rattles like the cheap built junk it is. Battery dies WAY too quickly. My son was so excited about getting an e-bike and was left sad instead with a heap of junk after less than a week!! Thanks a lot! ... show more
