I bought this because I’ve been wanting to learn the guitar but I want something smaller cheaper and easier for me to start on. So I chose a Ukulele instead. It’s always a gamble buying cheap instrument’s online. You risk getting instruments that break quickly, instruments that are too small, or even instruments that can’t work at all. However I think this instrument was in a price range where you don’t risk getting a cheap piece of plastic. I don’t know much about ukuleles or any sort of string instrument. I was a violin player for a few months though. However, it was made completely of wood, it sounds nice, tunes, and it hasn’t broken yet so I think it’s a good deal. Also, it’s actually a good size(I’m 5’8 and a large person). However, I was a little bit bummed that I didn’t come with a tuner, the picks, cloth or strap. All I received was the ukulele in the case. However, there are more expensive ukuleles that don’t come with all that and I think it was a good price for a Ukulele and case. I have microfiber cloths at home, I think picks just get in the way(it’s easier to play with your hands), you don’t really need a strap and my phone tuner works just well. I’ve had it a few days and I need to tune it basically every single time I play, especially the E string. However, that’s expected since the strings are new and are still stretching. Especially since the E string is thickest. But yeah, I think it’s a good beginner ukulele just don’t be surprised if you only get the case and the ukulele and make sure to treat it every single time for at least a few weeks so the strings can settle.

I recommend using a violin coating on the outside before playing to protect the wood there is no coating whatsoever to protect the wood from moisture and oils from the skin. Highly recommend as an affordable musical instrument for people wanting to eventually move up to a professional model.

This is a very light and user-friendly ukulele for anyone to pick up and start learning on. I'm an intermediate player and only have one ongoing problem that I cannot seem to fix. I play left-handed strum and right-hand fret and there seems to be a problem with the string closest to the floor. Since day one, this string would come out of tune easily without much effort. I tried tightening it and couldn't manage to resolve the issue it only seems to be this string and after a few strums, this thing needed to be tuned. Comparing this to another ukulele I own, I've never had an issue with this and could easily stay tuned even after playing it for an hour. I'm still giving this one 4 stars as the design is nice, and the strings ring out as clearly as you would expect them to when in tune. Additionally, I do not know for sure if I just got a bad ukulele that has a terrible bottom string or if this is a common issue with this type of instrument so I cannot give a lower score without knowing that fact. Overall, it's a very durable and lightweight ukulele which makes this a perfect beginner instrument for kids and adults alike.

Crazy as it may sound, I have always had a slight hankering to mess around with a ukulele or a banjo or something of that sort. I have no idea whether I'd be any good trying to learn it, so I certainly didn't want to spend a fortune. Up to now I have never seen anything at a really good price that looked like it may be any good. I saw the ZJW ukulele and decided to take a chance on it as the price was really good. To be brutally blunt I was really expecting very much from the instrument at this price point. However, I was blown away by just how well and professionally this instrument was constructed. The flame maple finish is absolutely gorgeous. Despite the price point it does not look as if anything has been scrimped in the construction of the ukulele. It not only looks very good but is very well made. The company obviously takes pride in the instruments it makes. In addition to the instrument itself, there is a carrying bag, a strap, a couple of picks, a microfiber cleaning cloth, replacement strings, and an electronic tuner. The tuner comes with a button battery provided so you won't need to hunt around for one. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of this instrument and when you factor in the price point, it's a bargain. If, like me, you have always wanted to play an instrument but didn't want to spend a fortune, then I recommend you consider this ZJW ukulele.

The media could not be loaded. This will be fun. I've bought so many ukuleles as gifts for people and now I have one. I was worried the strap wouldn't fit but it has a great range of size capacity. It was hard to get the strap over the guitar lock, but eventually I got it installed. The good think about how tight that is , is that it won't fall off. It's on there good now. The case is nice. It has good padding on all sides. I took a picture so hopefully it's evident from that. The sound is pretty good. I took a video of that. It's easy to tune as the knobs and not too tight and not too loose. They turn nicely and stay in place. It's so nice to take on trips for sing-alongs because it's smaller than a guitar. Plus people love to take a turn trying it out. I think we'll have fun making music.

The uke came well protected in a box inside a bigger box. It arrived in perfect condition. It’s very attractive. It came with a strap, a tuner which is very easy to use, a dusting cloth for wiping down after each use, and two picks. It has a fabric zippered case with an outside zipper pocket, a webbed handle and backpack type straps on the back. The tone of the ukulele is decent, better than I expected. If you are a beginner you will need to purchase a beginning instruction book but you will have everything else. I think it’s a good value for the money.
