It definitely doesn't feel cheap. The company also included some fun little extras, including a bird toy and a couple of decorative signs, which was such a nice surprise. My ladies always appreciate new entertainment, even if they're far more interested in snacks than décor. The only tiny hiccup was that one of the signs spelled "pampered" incorrectly. I’m very happy with this chicken feeder and waterer set so far. The plastic is nice and heavy-duty, and the whole set feels sturdy and well made. There was a bit of a learning curve putting everything together. I reached out to the seller because I couldn’t get the butterfly screws to fit properly on the back of the waterer nipples, and I also had some trouble with one of the feeder legs. The seller was incredibly helpful and promptly walked me through some troubleshooting. I ended up not needing the butterfly screws for the waterer—I was able to simply tighten the nipples directly into the holes. Some of the assembly took a little time and required repeating the twisting/adjusting process to figure out exactly where to start the pieces so everything lined up correctly. It was a little time-consuming, but definitely rewarding once I got it all together. The waterer holds 9 gallons and the feeder 50lbs but I filled the waterer with about 7 gallons of water and the feeder with 25 pounds of feed, since I only have three hens at this time. So far, there are no leaks, everything is working well, and it looks like it will hold up nicely. The customer service really deserves a special mention. Communication with the seller was top-notch—very responsive, incredibly helpful, and they followed up to make sure I was able to get everything working. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality, functionality, and especially the excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this set to other chicken owners. ... show more

This was an excellent purchase for my flock of 20 hens. They are made well and are easy to assemble. They are much easier to use than other methods I've used in the past. I would give it 5 stars but after I filled the water tank the lid doesn't fit properly due to the weight of the water inside. Guess it's not made to filled to the max.
