Excellent Product. While I like to give reviews, sometimes I find them unfair or misleading. Often it's thought that if you spend a certain amount of money the product should be perfect and have NO issues. Remember that the next time you spend $30,000 or more for a new car that you need to keep taking in for repairs. Farmers have always been innovators and know that sometimes you must think ahead or plan for issues that may arise. That's the case for me with this feeder. Every part appears well made except it is metal to metal contact, and used outside. For me, my thought was sealing it from water to prevent mold. I bought a copuple tubes of squeeze tube clear calk and calked everywhere that I had metal to metal contact.I also applied caulk on the handle before bolting it on the lid. I have no moisture issues. Yes, I have waste and yes I have mice who get in the feeders at night, but this is a farm and some things are expected. It's a fine product but I wouldn't mind if it was a tad bit less expensive. ... show more

Pros: This is a really nice feeder and holds a lot of food. It is durable and holds up to weather without letting water in, while being lightweight. Cons: This was rather confusing to put together and I had to undo it many times to get it right. I also don’t like the design of the lid, you have to put it on just right for it to fit and clip each time you fill the food. I think it would have been better to have the clips on each end or something. ... show more

Great find for my chickens sturdy nice adjustable height legs, instructions are clear and easy to figure out. My last feeder was similar but legs were good up and chickens could knock the lid off like the design and locking lid on this one, and the option to hold more feed and enough feed ports that they don't have to wait there turn, ... show more

    • 95% FEED WASTED, DOES NOT HOLD 95 LBS OF FEED
The construction was super easy, looks great BUT my feed is EVERYWHERE!! My feeder box is under a covered run but is not enclosed so the ground gets wet when it rains. Did I say 55 lbs. of feed is everywhere? The rain has soaked the feed on the ground, so we have that. Also, cannot hold 95 lbs. of feed 55 lbs. filled it 3/4 of the way. Not worth the money when feed is getting wasted. I opted for this to NOT have to worry about 25 chickens knocking feeders over and spilling the feed. Tragically, this was NOT AN OVERALL COST-EFFECTIVE purchase. I will have to pivot and just put enough out daily or lose my money on wasted feed. POOR VALUE FOR MONEY!! ... show more

There still is a little wast. The girls do clean it up though. I love that it fits about 100 lbs of feed. It took a little time to put together. But it wasn't hard to do. I put the wire things you use to keep birds from nesting in your eaves. It helps keep the girls off the top for the most part. I love ❤️ not worrying if I can't get out there at time to feed ie raining or running late. I am very happy with this feeder. ... show more
