This took a little longer than the video that I watched, but it was late and I was tired. It fits my full size mattress/box spring perfect. It can be adjusted to fit twin, full (or queen, I think) It feels sturdy and there is no sagging. I used a rubber mallet to tap the pieces into their final positions as my hands were sore and stiff. I haven't stubbed my toes, as I read on a few reviews. The legs seem normal placement to me. The instructions seemed a little sparse so I just winged it and it came together just as it should. Nice frame. I only wish the legs were longer as I only have an 8 inch mattress and no box spring, so my bed sits quite low to the floor. I had to buy 5" risers for the legs to raise it to a comfortable height (an added expense I didn't need). It needs 9 leg risers and they're only sold in quantities of 8. ... show more

I know something about engineering. This designer thought of everything. 6 legs. The center legs on the outer rails are inset so you don't stub your toe. The bolts are heavy duty. A small ratchet is included for the hex head bolts. If you can't figure out how to operate a ratchet, an allen key is also provided, as is an extra bolt, so you can double check your work before realizing that it's extra. This was clearly a bed frame that had been returned because it was partially put together and the package of screws was not the usual package that you get with new assembly products. It was a "kit" that is purchased for any variety of assembly needs and was short one screw that I needed. I feel like I have screws in all the vital places and it will still hold up well. If I find that I really need another screw, I think it would be pretty easy to go to the hardware store and get one. If I felt it was a vital issue, I would return it, but I don't think it is. Anyway, it was easy to assembly, made easier because the headboard parts were already on and the cross pieces were already set to full size were I needed it. The instructions were easy enough, but I was a little disappointed that the A, B, C parts labels were missing; probably removed by the first purchaser. Fortunately, that was no big deal either. The one thing I was happy about was that my shoe organizer/storage unit still fit under the frame! I was concerned about that because the reason I bought I new frame was because the old one had become too high for me and climbing into bed is just not within my abilities anymore. I needed something that I could just sit, no climbing. I got the 5-inch legs frame and then after I ordered thought that might have been too short. It's actually perfect!! Believe I reviewed this already but did not include that there are protectors on the legs to keep the frame from scratching my floor. Have this frame in my guest room and it slides beautifully when changing the sheets. My son-in-law said that it snapped together in no time and feels very sturdy. I used this product in our spare bedroom with a twin size mattress and box spring. It is a good basic metal frame. I do recommend getting not slip pads for underneath as it will slide. Also do recommend purchasing something to cover the corners as we have had a couple of people walk into it. Other than that it was very easy to put together and very easy to break down if needed ... show more
