Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: Queen
I bought a vintage metal bed, I love it! It didn’t have enough cross braces to support my mattress. I bought a bed slats from Ikea that took 2 hours to put together, but didn’t fit well. It worked great, but the slats were visible along the edges and I had to find something different. I tried the bed slats I used on my previous bed. They didn’t work at all! My mattress is good quality but weighs about 150 pounds. Then I added a bunkie board on top of the slats. That didn’t help either. I had a huge sag in the middle of the slats. Not to mention terrible back pain every morning. I finally ordered this mattress foundation. This is just what I needed! I got the newer easy to put together model. It is truly a DIY friendly assembly. It is the easiest assembly of any product I have ever purchased. A much appreciated bonus is the racheting Allen wrench included to make assembly more pleasant. Don’t throw this away! The foundation fits my bed just right and supports my lovely 150 pound mattress very well. I think of it as a substitute for a traditional box spring. The queen size is about 5” high. And to top it off, it is less expensive than the other options that did not work as well! I would buy this again for any mattress support situation in the future. ... show more

    • Buy it!! So easy to assemble, very sturdy
Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: Queen
Buy it, don’t hesitate. I chose the “New/upgraded with quick assembly” rather than “Original” option because easy assembly was important to me. I purchased the 5 inch box spring because I needed only a little lift for my queen mattress. This item is so perfect and SO easy to assemble! I got the box in the house alone and assembled it alone. Took 1 hour. The only hiccup was when I placed the middle connectors upside-down - make sure the holes are facing up only on the middle connector pieces marked “G” so that the middle rack can slide down into that slot. It’s a pain to disconnect if you place it wrong. The cover is so easy to get on, just like a fitted sheet. It did not slide off at all while placing the box spring onto the platform bed frame, which I also did alone. It doesn’t squeak or slide around. Love it!! ... show more

    • Don’t buy this. Save money
Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: King
Here’s your final version with everything included, sounding natural and clear: ⸻ ⭐ 1 out of 5 stars – Do NOT buy this I purchased the Zinus 5-Inch Metal Smart Box Spring in August 2025, and I regret it completely. The construction is very poor for something that’s supposed to be sturdy. It’s a metal frame, but instead of feeling solid, it’s extremely noisy. Every movement causes loud squeaking and creaking. If you share the bed with a partner, this becomes a serious problem. Even normal movement makes noise—but anything more active makes it much worse. Honestly, having sex on this bed is not recommended, especially if you’re not alone in the house or apartment. It’s that loud. At this point, I can’t even get into bed without it making noise. I’ll even add a sound clip so you can hear how loud it is—I’m literally just turning from one side to another. Highly not recommended. Save your money and look for something better built. ... show more

    • Easy setup, slightly frustrating cover
Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: Queen
I purchased a similar item several months ago for my daughter's queen bed, which was cumbersome and very difficult to put together. It took nearly 2 hours! This was the complete opposite. So easy to build, I was done in less than 20 minutes! The only issue I have with it is, the previous cover zipped completely over the frame, whereas this one just covers the top using elastic, like a fitted bed sheet. I paid slightly more for the upgraded version and I'm glad I did. It's sturdy, but also somehow lightweight, which meant I was able to get it on the bed platform by myself. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble and well made
Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: Queen
Easy to assemble picture directions I am 67 and I laid out all the pieces before I started . Just be sure to keep the sides marked “up” all up . The 8 screws are a little challenging because they use an Allen wrench and you can’t make a complete turn w it . However it’s easy to stand up on one end for better access to the screws . I was able to carry it into the bedroom by myself . Fit the queen bed frame fine . ... show more

    • Easy assembly, perfect fit
Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: Full
This is my first Amazon review, and I want to share how impressed I was with this foundation. I had bought a different brand metal foundation which was sadly slightly too large for my full bed. I ordered this hoping it would be lower profile and it was a perfect fit. In comparing the two foundations, I also noted that this was far easier to assemble. Will be easy to take apart for moving. Feels sturdy, expect it will last a long time. Very pleased with the experience especially compared to similar products, and for a great price. ... show more

    • ZINUS 5 Inch Metal Smart Box Spring (Quality great!)
Style: New/upgraded with quick assembly Size: Twin
Review Image by Mina
The Sinus twin boxspring worked great for my needs at a good price in the size that I needed, 5 in. The quality is very good and sturdy and fits a twin frame perfectly. I plan on putting a air mattress on top of it for visitors. One piece was missing on the tip of a cross rod, lost in the shipment but the company responded quickly and replaced it immediately. Good customer service! Recommend buying this if you need a good twin box spring. Update 9-14-25. Twin box spring started collapsing periodically. Unfortunately I had to buy wood slats to support it so it wouldn't collapse. ... show more
