For the price, this can't be beat. This replaced an old Pelican 1510 case, and I'm very happy with this Vault case. It's a few pounds lighter, and just as sturdy as the 1510.

Holds my camera, a couple lenses, batteries, cables, viewfinder, should rig bits, rods, follow focus, etc. etc. etc. Easily carried it on a plane and loaded it out into the SoCal desert for a several-day shoot back in July. Protected my gear incredibly well.

Using it for pistol box. Stores upto 4 guns & more. Organizing pouch buy seperate but perfect fit on inside of lid. It’s not as thick as Pelican but rugged for travel. Fact it has wheels makes big difference when u got 4 guns, ammo, & misc items.

I give it 4 stars because it’s probably better than your average case. I love the pads compared to foam. The pads will hold up better and you can store more things in it. And the straps for the pads are nice to keep things in like longer lenses. Before this case I had a Seahorse case which was the same size, but the Seahorse surprisingly had bigger wheels, the pull up handle lock and function was better and the locks were nicer because it’d be trickier for someone like a toddler to get into it, and just the case seemed more sturdy than the Pelican. I just couldn’t find the same size pads (not foam) that I wanted which is why I had to make the switch to a Pelican. Overall 👍🏻

After taking my soft shell camera bag on several flights, I came to realize I needed a more gear friendly option. I ordered this Pelican case and couldn't be more thrilled! This case has ample room for my cameras, lenses and accessories. It is sturdy enough that I feel comfortable sending my gear as checked baggage. The rolling wheels are tough and the locking mechanism is secure. I can't wait to take it on another trip.
