This is a good quality mattress for the price, perfect my kids twin/full bunk bed (I bought both sizes in the 6 inch), as an adult it's not something I would want to sleep on every night as it is pretty springy and not alot of padding but it's perfect for kids and teens. It was shipped and packed well, and had no smells or odor, just take a lot of caution unwrapping it, make sure you are in an open area and no kids or pets near because with it having springs it does pop open fast, like a giant pillsbury dough can, LOL. ... show more

I had another Zinus mattress, very good one, but 10 inches queen hybrid, which after two years of good sleep did not show any signs of wear. Very comfortable. That's why I bough this Zinus for my camper. This one, also hybrid, queen, but only 8 inches, and although it says it has about 2 inches of foam layers above the springs, it certainly does not feel like. What I most dislike about it, is that the foam seem not to be attached in any way to the coils, and it kinda bubbles up or, you can see waves on it. You press it down, then you feel there is a gap in between the foam layer and the surface of the coils. It makes it look ugly and cheap. I sleep well on it though. it has the comfort I was looking for. So I gave it 3 stars. But I am not sure if it will last as long as the other one. I wished Zinus had less types and models of mattresses. Very difficult to trust and pick one. Seem like all other brands, too many choices, little information about each, and the reviewers are usually talking about a different mattress than the one you are on the link for, easy to get trapped into something not worth the money. ... show more

Purchased two of these for our kiddos in the full size and they are loving them. The mattresses were packed in vacuum seal, which my children now believe is some sort of magic because of how small a box you can vacuum a mattress into. After breaking the seals, the mattresses puffed up wonderfully and immediately proved to be very comfy to the touch. No smells whatsoever from being packed in the plastic. We let them sit for the recommended 72 hours and then put them on the beds. Both kids love the mattresses. The combination of springs and memory foam makes the mattresses very comfortable. One of our girls is a stomach sleeper and she is loving the fact that this mattress stays comfy and doesn’t hurt her back while she’s snoozing on her stomach. ... show more
