We bought this scooter for my husband in Nov 2024. He is mobile, but limited to short distances and walks very slow. We had looked at other scooters but they were to heavy for me to lift (even after taking it apart) into the back of our SUV. We came across this foldable scooter...and boy was it a game changer!! It is really easy to fold. No taking apart and having to put back together. I can easily lift it into the back of my SUV. It weighs less than my check-in luggage. I do recommend you purchase an extra battery. It fits easily in the basket underneath the seat. I also recommend you purchase the battery carrier. It is especially made for Lithium batteries so it is fireproof. Airlines require it. Previously we were limited on where we traveled because my husband's limited mobility. Since we purchased the scooter, we flew to Las Vegas. My husband was able to drive it all the way to boarding. The airlines took it from him and had it waiting for him when we landed. No problems at all. I was really happy that we did not have to check it in with luggage. I could not get the protective cover on for the life of me. I had a few questions after I received the scooter and I received a quick response. Great customer service! We've also taken it on a cruise. We got a last minute deal on the cruise so they did not have any more accessible rooms available. The good news is that the scooter is slim enough to fit through the doorway of the cabin. UPDATE: I have had this scooter for a year now and up till now, I have loved it. I flew to Boston on Southwest airlines and on my return flight, the airline had an issue with my scooter not being approved to fly. I told them that I had just flown a week earlier on the same airlines without an issue. They said it had just enforcing the rule that a mobility scooter has to be airline approved. Apparently ZiiLIF is not on the airline approval list. We had to get special approval that took over 45 minutes to obtain. I had to show them where I bought the scooter, thank goodness I was able to access my purchase through the Amazon App. They had to read the description to ensure it met all their requirements. They did not have to do this...apparently they can refuse to allow the passenger to board with the scooter. We travel quite a bit, so unfortunately I will have to sell this one and purchase another foldable scooter that is airline approved.

I just received my scooter yesterday. This is the third scooter I’ve owned in my lifetime. Each time I go a little lighter due to my age and inability to lift heavy. This scooter already out does any I’ve ever owned. It is so light yet very sturdy. I am able to lift the entire scooter into my mini van, by myself. It’s not quite as quiet as my others but it’s not an annoying purrrr either. The power/speed is perfect for a disabled person. Not to fast but not slow either. Pick up very nice. The weight of the battery is fantastic. It pops out and weights practically nothing. My old scooter battery weighed 26 lbs. I could not even lift it due to the shape and size. This scooter is amazing. My scooter arrived without the manual. So I called, Ben answered walked me through a few things so it would run. Explained a few more things to me and emailed me a copy of the Manuel. Service was above and beyond expectations. Will post after I’ve owned for awhile and after my trip to Asia. Right now it is a wonderful piece of mobility equipment. I would highly recommend. Returned from Asia used this scooter for 3 weeks, all day every day. It performed like a champ. Absolutely wonderful. I have added a 6 in padded seat cushion, plus a chair cover over the seat cushion it raises me up higher I have long legs and i find the added height to the seat makes the ride much more comfortable for me. I still give the scooter 5 stars!!! I had many people on our cruise asking about it. I let them ride it several took the name and info i had and two people ordered one,

This has been a great purchase for me. I’ve taken it on a short car trip from Ga into SC. I went on a road trip in Denver with family for 6 days (airline) and then took it to Vancouver Island -also airline. The scooter was a trouper. I purchased a new suitcase with the wonderful spinner wheels and could actually ride the mobility scooter and with one hand hold my medium suit and zip through the airport. It was great. I’ve put this scooter through its paces. It doesn’t like beach sand.( the hard kind cause you wouldn’t bother with sandy stuff - get a different vehicle if that’s what you need). It did a good job - on harder beach sand surfaces - it really tried. lol. This is a great little machine. I can lift it if I must by my self. I’m 71 with issues - obviously- but with 2 older people it was easy. And if you’ve got a teen or two around then you’re good. 🤣 Truly it went every where. Airports were easy. Folding it down- easy. Just Remember to turn the battery off so you don’t waste your energy when your not using it AND remember to reengage the clutch - which is super easy- when you go from pulling it along ( not often) to driving it. This Little scooter is the best. And it stands up in a corner when your not using it if you need it too. Amazing! :)

This scooter is practically perfect in every way, except for one potentially fatal flaw. Good points: zippy, fun, fabulously tight turning radius, highly responsive steering and throttle control, feels stable on most built surfaces, brakes quickly, can apparently go a lot faster than I want to go, the tiller arm can be moved into a comfortable position and locked to stay at the right angle, vehicle is lightweight enough that my late 70's husband can get it in and out of the car without trouble, small underseat basket is a secure place to keep a small purse, armrests helpful and can easily be tilted out of the way when getting on and off the scooter, folds quite compactly, approved for air travel. Bad point: Getting on and off is moderately dangerous because there's nothing stable to hold on to. There is a desperate need for a way to lock the handle steering bars so you can hold on and be braced while stepping onto the scooter. (Note: if you were stable and agile enough to safely do this without something functioning like a grab bar, you probably wouldn't need the scooter in the first place.) It would also be good if the arm rests didn't move once you've lowered them into position. Last thing to note: some reviewers write about reclaiming independence. I can't see how any power scooter or wheelchair could be gotten in and out of a car and unfolded by a person with a disability requiring the scooter or wheelchair. I wish I could go solo sometimes and free my husband. But I haven't been able to figure out how that would be possible for anyone with my disability.

I am so impressed with this little scooter. It is truly lightweight but very stable and sturdy. I can pick it up with the seat attached and the battery in (folded up.) and put it in the back of my car. It truly is under 40 pounds. You can also stand it up on its end on the back of your car and lift from there. I had looked at every mobility shop for something like this. It’s very impressive. It has a frame high enough off the ground that it could go over gravel and it’s super easy to operate. You don’t need a special brake handle because when you stop pushing the throttle it stops. It’s easy to get a second battery if you think you’ll need one. (I haven’t needed one yet) The company also offers a case for travel and cases for the lithium battery for travel. I did a lot of research before purchasing, and I believe I have made an excellent choice for me because I can lift this by myself into my car and take it out by myself and use this for mobility.

Bought this in June 2024. Stopped working so i bought a new battery and a new charger since the battery was not charging. Still will not work. A lot of money spent on something that lasted a little over a year. This is really hard on someone disabled and ona fixed income.

It comes with its own battery. No need to buy one. The description wasn’t clear on that so we returned the battery we bought. Could use a basket. Buying one.

After an exhaustive internet research project, I decided on the ZiiRobot mobility scooter---above all others---because it solved multiple objectives: it's a breeze to open and close, it's lightweight, it's solidly constructed, it's right-sized for me, it's not laden with superfluous features, it served my purposes, and, finally, the company, ZiiRobot, is committed to quality of product and service. I'm an older woman with Parkinson's. My life had always been one of independence and mobility. Parkinson's changes that. I wanted a scooter that allowed me and my partner/caregiver to have more quality time with one another when we're out together, whether food shopping or going to a museum or for travel...and, of course, for medical appointments. He is tickled with the freedom we both have to go and do things together, without him needing to be by my side. I'm relieved to go and do, on my own. The scooter is just such a joy to use. Regarding usage, it is maneuverable in tight spaces, the control panel is straightforward, loading it in the car is fast and easy, it's comfortable. Before buying the ZiiRobot, we locally rented a scooter that had 5 parts to assemble and weighed 99 pounds. I will say that it's hard to compare a 41 pound scooter with one that's 99 pounds. It's like comparing a sleek compact with a ponderous SUV. The SUV will be better with rough roads, but we don't need an SUV. There are numerous mobility scooters on the market. I chose the one that suits my needs from a company that has a progressive, enlightened approach to their product and their customer. Well worth your money and serious consideration.
