It's a great scooter! Very powerful over everyday terrain like carpet and concrete. I've taken it up steep inclines, done tight turnarounds in elevators. It's very nice. It holds a charge for a long time and it's very easy to fold. It's about 38 pounds, like they say, which is as heavy as I can lift. I like that I can easily change the speed and that there's a nice light on the front. I will say that it's very short. I'm 5'1, and my knees get cramped when sitting for awhile. I got a seat cushion to give me a little more height, and that helped, some. I also got a back cushion, because there's not much support built in. The built in cup holder is pretty much useless, so I took that off. I bought a bag to put on front, and that's been very helpful. I mostly use it for going shopping, but I plan to use it next year when my husband and I go on a cruise. It folds up nicely and fits in the back of my Jeep. It also stores in a corner in our home and takes up less room than my manual wheelchair.

We bought this scooter for my husband in Nov 2024. He is mobile, but limited to short distances and walks very slow. We had looked at other scooters but they were to heavy for me to lift (even after taking it apart) into the back of our SUV. We came across this foldable scooter...and boy was it a game changer!! It is really easy to fold. No taking apart and having to put back together. I can easily lift it into the back of my SUV. It weighs less than my check-in luggage. I do recommend you purchase an extra battery. It fits easily in the basket underneath the seat. I also recommend you purchase the battery carrier. It is especially made for Lithium batteries so it is fireproof. Airlines require it. Previously we were limited on where we traveled because my husband's limited mobility. Since we purchased the scooter, we flew to Las Vegas. My husband was able to drive it all the way to boarding. The airlines took it from him and had it waiting for him when we landed. No problems at all. I was really happy that we did not have to check it in with luggage. I could not get the protective cover on for the life of me. I had a few questions after I received the scooter and I received a quick response. Great customer service! We've also taken it on a cruise. We got a last minute deal on the cruise so they did not have any more accessible rooms available. The good news is that the scooter is slim enough to fit through the doorway of the cabin. UPDATE: I have had this scooter for a year now and up till now, I have loved it. I flew to Boston on Southwest airlines and on my return flight, the airline had an issue with my scooter not being approved to fly. I told them that I had just flown a week earlier on the same airlines without an issue. They said it had just enforcing the rule that a mobility scooter has to be airline approved. Apparently ZiiLIF is not on the airline approval list. We had to get special approval that took over 45 minutes to obtain. I had to show them where I bought the scooter, thank goodness I was able to access my purchase through the Amazon App. They had to read the description to ensure it met all their requirements. They did not have to do this...apparently they can refuse to allow the passenger to board with the scooter. We travel quite a bit, so unfortunately I will have to sell this one and purchase another foldable scooter that is airline approved.

This is a great little scooter. I purchased specifically for the light weight. At 42 pounds my daughter and I can easily lift it into our suv. Many must be taken apart and even then the pieces were still very heavy. Also the battery is small making it easy to remove and put in my carryon for flights. Con: it does not do well in grass or rough terrain. But I mostly just need it for smooth surfaces! Battery holds charge and lasts for a long time! Also small enough for cruise ships without having to get a handicapped cabin.

This is a nice little scooter, folds down nicely to put in the back of our SUVs, my husband is able to lift it easily, I can get it in my vehicle with some maneuvering due to only having the use of one hand, with that being said, I can set up the scooter and fold it back down easily with the one hand. It seems to have good speed, I turned it to the fastest setting and I doubt I’ll ever need it to go that fast. It feels a lot faster than 4mph, when I have it at the low speed my husband can walk at a comfortable pace next to me. I do recommend getting g a back cushion. I ordered one, but forgot to take it on our test drive to Walmart and I wished I had it by the time we were done. The small size makes it very easy to maneuver, I cannot speak to the battery life quite yet, but I will update after taking it on vacation. As soon as I figure out an easier way to get it in and out of my vehicle I will be able to return to working! Edit, this scooter has been great on vacation, easy to maneuver in small spaces and light enough to lift once I’m off of it if needed to move it more out of the way. Battery life is great, as is customer service. I had a couple questions and found my cup holder was bent upon using it the first time. Ben could not have been any nicer or more helpful, very prompt in helping, too! Order from this small midwestern Company, even though they originated out of Ohio State University 😉 ( go Hoosiers!)

I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone in need of an easy to transport travel scooter OR daily use at home. It has become a great aid in extending my independence, in part due to the collapsible, lightweight design. I am 5'8" and 125 lbs with Multiple Sclerosis and my main disability is a drop foot. This scooter fits easily into the trunk of my SUV and is simple to operate. I find it very comfortable to ride on and especially like the sleek design. The best part of this purchase though has to be the A#1 service. Ben has promptly answered set-up, charging, key replacement and operating questions of mine with a friendliness which is typical of the company's quality service. Unfortunately, I misplaced the keys to my scooter during a trip abroad this summer. Quite fortunately, I was able to call ZiiLIF and purchase a new set of keys. We were in Scotland and leaving within a day or two for Norway. The keys were sent 'overnight'; excellent, responsive service. Unfortunately during this same trip, Norwegian Airlines mishandled my scooter, breaking the front wheels. Again, ZiiLIF personal were responsive and suggested we have the scooter wheels replaced locally in Oslo, Norway. I highly recommend ZiiLIF R3b to anyone needing a lightweight folding powered mobility scooter!

Bought this scooter looking for longer battery life and ease of transport. This scooter is EXCELLENT!!!!!! Battery - The battery came fully charged and the scooter was ready to go right out of the box. On a 5 day vacation, I had to charge the battery just once and this was using it every day for a couple of hours. Transportation - This scooter is VERY light. With one button release, the scooter folds down. Then the tiller folds on top of it. That’s it! Lifting it into the car trunk is easy. We took the scooter on a plane on vacation. Airline allows people with scooters drive right up to the door of the plane, they then load it in the cargo hold. All I had to do was show them how to fold it down. Cons - There are a few cons. The cushion is VERY thin and will not last. It is not comfortable. The solution is to keep a thicker one in your car to put on it. No big deal. Also, the scooter does not strike me as being very sturdy if you are going to take it over a lot of bumps. But, for going to the mall, shopping, airports, amusement parks, etc., this scooter is FANTASTIC!!! One other thing - It does come with a cup holder but it is cheap. I suggest buying an aftermarket cup and phone holder that attaches to the tiller.

After an exhaustive internet research project, I decided on the ZiiRobot mobility scooter---above all others---because it solved multiple objectives: it's a breeze to open and close, it's lightweight, it's solidly constructed, it's right-sized for me, it's not laden with superfluous features, it served my purposes, and, finally, the company, ZiiRobot, is committed to quality of product and service. I'm an older woman with Parkinson's. My life had always been one of independence and mobility. Parkinson's changes that. I wanted a scooter that allowed me and my partner/caregiver to have more quality time with one another when we're out together, whether food shopping or going to a museum or for travel...and, of course, for medical appointments. He is tickled with the freedom we both have to go and do things together, without him needing to be by my side. I'm relieved to go and do, on my own. The scooter is just such a joy to use. Regarding usage, it is maneuverable in tight spaces, the control panel is straightforward, loading it in the car is fast and easy, it's comfortable. Before buying the ZiiRobot, we locally rented a scooter that had 5 parts to assemble and weighed 99 pounds. I will say that it's hard to compare a 41 pound scooter with one that's 99 pounds. It's like comparing a sleek compact with a ponderous SUV. The SUV will be better with rough roads, but we don't need an SUV. There are numerous mobility scooters on the market. I chose the one that suits my needs from a company that has a progressive, enlightened approach to their product and their customer. Well worth your money and serious consideration.

This scooter is practically perfect in every way, except for one potentially fatal flaw. Good points: zippy, fun, fabulously tight turning radius, highly responsive steering and throttle control, feels stable on most built surfaces, brakes quickly, can apparently go a lot faster than I want to go, the tiller arm can be moved into a comfortable position and locked to stay at the right angle, vehicle is lightweight enough that my late 70's husband can get it in and out of the car without trouble, small underseat basket is a secure place to keep a small purse, armrests helpful and can easily be tilted out of the way when getting on and off the scooter, folds quite compactly, approved for air travel. Bad point: Getting on and off is moderately dangerous because there's nothing stable to hold on to. There is a desperate need for a way to lock the handle steering bars so you can hold on and be braced while stepping onto the scooter. (Note: if you were stable and agile enough to safely do this without something functioning like a grab bar, you probably wouldn't need the scooter in the first place.) It would also be good if the arm rests didn't move once you've lowered them into position. Last thing to note: some reviewers write about reclaiming independence. I can't see how any power scooter or wheelchair could be gotten in and out of a car and unfolded by a person with a disability requiring the scooter or wheelchair. I wish I could go solo sometimes and free my husband. But I haven't been able to figure out how that would be possible for anyone with my disability.
